Great post. I too am fed up with all the criticism of Blair. His workrate is without fault, he takes up great positions, holds the ball well, brings others into play and is such an intelligent footballer. It really is about time people got off his back and showed some support before they totally kill his confidence as they haver done to many before him.

I've taken the unusual step of quoting my own post - I don't say anywhere that he is the "best thing since sliced bread." I haven't read anyone else who has defended him saying that either.

I never said YOU specifically did say that. I used the term "you all" which to me suggests a collective of people all with a same agenda. The "best thing since sliced bread" comment also cannot be attributed to any one specifically but again summarises the feelings of the pro BS camp...

Can you please just get over the fact that Blair has performed well please?

Some of us are 'PRO BLAIR' because he has been performing well, not all of us are narrow minded and take a disliking to someone because they play for their Dad.
It's just boring me now really! It doesn't need to be discussed, most think he has been good because he has been.
You are entitled to your opinion but can we not talk about something other than that you think Blair is ****.

I don't think there's a pro BS "camp"... I think there are a select minority who wouldn't appreciate his contribution even if he were to smash in 25 goals this season because he's endemic of the new regime at the club. This is in contrast to those who have been/are willing to let things play out in front of them, and have seen that, actually, Sturrock can play football a little bit.

It's not as if there's a militant faction of supporters who wear mock rat tails to games in spite of ****-poor performances...
