Morris -6 looked shaky and shoul've got to the first goal.

Clohessy - 7.5 solid, beginning to like him, can ping a lovely cross
Gilbert- 7 rather abbonynous, but does his job
Bilel -8 animal! other than a few passes was rock solid.
Barker - 8 great commander of the troops.

Simpson - 6.5 was lacking today, shouldn't play RW, we should play him in the centre or not at all
Grant yellow- 7.5 another yellow card, love it :) sums up Granty, again looked good in patches.
Hall - 8 was fantastic today becoming one of the most improved players.
Timlin -8.5 Beauty of a goal, and knows how to pass, good find mr sturrock.

Corr -7.5 looks great upfront, good target man, but its one or the other for me. Took goal well. better target man IMO.
Sturrock - 7 Does what he needs to do, and he does it well, but nether looks like he can adapt his game, should've done better with chances, but worked hard.

Hilarious! He sets up one goal with a beautiful cross and scores another but he still gets flack!

A decent, but not great performance. But to be honest we didn't have to be that great against another poor league 2 side who were there to be beaten. We started badly and the goal (horrible mistake from Morris in my opinion) didn't help and the first 20 mins were shaky. But after that Morris had little to do and our strikers found the net either side of a beauty of a free kick from Timlin. As Ben Fryer tweeted after the third went in - 'start the car' and that was pretty much it. MOTM? No one really stood out for me but you could argue that with a goal and an assist Sturrock Jnr could be in with a chance!!!

Does what he needs to do, and does it well, worked hard......that'll do for me, if everyone does this we'll do alright.

Match report now up at http://www.aas-fanzine.co.uk live from Hereford courtesy of correspondent James Mutimer's iphone.

Apologies for the lack of twitter match updates today, normal service will be resumed at Gillingham.

Well as far as I am aware Grant picked up his 5th card of the season and so will miss the next game, meaning Timlin and Simpson in the middle?

i do hope bilel gets some praise from todays game as he was quality all day long and will prove a great signing in the end as he has been getting some stick off people in the past.

Sounded a reasonable performance and better than last week but they are a c**p team we will have to do more to beat the better teams. I agree lets get of B Sturrocks back he scored, he may not be world class but he did his job.
I agree it is a shame the website does not say anything!!!

Taken from the AAS match report (link quoted above)

Sturrock Jnr swept in the third (actually he fired straight at the keeper and the ball ricocheted off his shin and trickled over the line!)

So that's now 2 goals and both of them "shinned" in then ;)
Cue thousands of "they all count no matter how they go in" comments...

Great result although sounded rather a dull affair on the radio as always. How many did we take there?

Sets up the gills game midweek nicely
