About 5 years ago in Great Wakering, there was no permit parking that I saw. It might not be the case now of course. The main road parking was the roads to the north of the High Street. Conway Avenue might be worth a look, south side of the High Street. You get to it by going down Crouchmans Avenue. Probably a lot of it converted to driveways now, but might be worth a try.

Just tried to nab the last parking space in their main car park, only to be told that it has been reserved, for one Ron Martin. Surely he wouldn’t?!
