No real surprise he may be off. We offered less money than he wanted obviously.

(assuming there is any truth in this obviously!)

Awww crap :(

What a servent though and whilst you'd expect him to go to a bigger club, they are a league above, probably paying more money.

Big job to replace him IMO.

And Stevenage are a good side - made the L1 playoffs, have a decent chance of doing same this season.

They could have offered a similar wage, but in the end it comes down to his career.

Nah, not overly worried. Yes he was loyal, but I reckon we can get a good replacement in for the wages he was on.

I liked him a lot, hard working, good defensively but was also able to retain possession and could score a few goals. I'm sure he's replaceable, but sad to see him go.

Mixed feelings really, on his day he was brilliant but he tended to blow a bit hot and cold. Will wish him all the luck in the world though as it would have been easy for him to leave at the end of Tilly's reign with everyone else, but he was the only first-teamer of that era who stuck with us for the first two seasons of Luggy's reign.

Good luck Granty - look forward to seeing all the videos of you falling over to win free-kicks in dangerous areas against Col Ewe next season!

Thats a back track if ever I heard one!!!!!! lol :smiles:

I'm not saying he got a lot of goals, but like Timlin he's someone who could strike a ball well and got a few stunners.

OK - a slight backtrack:winking:

thought he would of gone to a bigger club really with more fans, big loss for us and im sure he will become a favourite their.
