My thoughts exactly, Kraftwerk were one of the few remaining bands to cross off before I completed live music. Plus the Damned are performing the Black Album.

The Ramones and R.E.M were among U2's support. I wonder if you're getting your visits to the Bowl mixed up. The Cult supported Simple Minds there in 1986. I was there for that one.

I remember seeing Marillion at Reading in 1982. The late Tommy Vance was touting them as the next big thing after hearing their cassette they were selling at gigs. And for a time they were!

The Fun Lovin' Criminals at the Warehouse in Leeds booked for September. It is a great little venue just opposite the BBC studios. I have seen Wreckless Eric, Martin Stephenson & The Daintees, and Blancmange there and I have to say they were all among my gigs of that particular year. And it only takes around 30 minutes door to door to get home!
