Drogba's just a big fat knob. Shame he couldn't have reacted with some sort of dignity rather than like a little girl who's just had her hair pulled out. Well done to Gerrard, one of the best midfielders our country has seen.

No it wasn't a dive. Stevie G just made the most of it. Over reaction? HELL YES! but not a dive. Would hate to see a southend player over react or dive.

What on earth are you all watching folks? From where I am sitting, Gerrard ploughs into the box in the last 3 minutes of the match going away from goal, jumps into a defender making no contact with the ball en route or legitimate attempt to win it, goes down like a wounded soldier with the black death and cons the ref into a penalty.

This decision sickened me at the time and gifted Liverpool 3 points they sorely unwarranted.

No in all fairness to him he didn't that time. Maybe even he realised how bad a dive it was.

I don't know why, I just really REALLY dislike Gerrard and Terry.

I'm so tired of seeing 'England's Leaders' acting like petulant children and blaming everyone else for their losses. They are capable of losing games and need to stop blaming the ref / the oppositions 'negative' tactics / players diving and cheating (much like they themselves do week in week out) and do their talking on the pitch.

It gets very boring hearing people moan about 'we could learn a lot from Rugby's 'RESPECT' campaign'. But we could.

I'm with you on the Terry one though. Obviously I want England to win the world cup but ideally Terry would be injured or suspended for the final so we dont have to see his chavvy nasty face plastered everywhere hoisting the trophy. Bobby Moore he aint!

Terry's lambasting of the ref for a good 2 minutes as the teams walked off at half time at Man City was shocking. He was on a yellow already and I'd loved to have seen the ref turn around and say 'Oi son, don't bother coming back out second half yeah? You arrogant prick. Now go in there, talk to your 'friends' as it is your job to do, and I'll do mine'

Even in that scenario, I can still see him coming on to the pitch to lift the trophy. It would have to be a badly broken leg or some other nasty injury to prevent this.
 
I think that they should have new refs, professional body builders. Who would be shouting at Arnold and disrespecting him .......
 
Good to see that after everything that has happened in recent weeks, English football once again has a captain that it can be proud of.

Had to laugh at Gerrard getting sent off for a shocking challenge yesterday, just when his Club needed their captain the most. Absolutely disgraceful challenge which could have easily snapped the guys leg and yet Jim Beglin and the rest of the ITV sycophants tried to defend him and claim that it should have been a yellow. He's not that kind of lad, you see?

Honestly, if that cheating, diving thug had been born outside of England he'd be Public Enemy No.1.
