I still can’t get over the fact there was an appreciation thread after two games

Tbf. He looked an absolute class above.

His skill levels where never in doubt, he just never looked fit and couldn't score for toffee.

He is an enigma type player and will do well elsewhere but not with us unfortunately.

many said that about Moncur also, ,and Moncur was class its just his style of playing dosent suit crab football and his mindset was probably more advanced than most players with Southend .

He never seemed to me to be a ninety minute player.

At our level and budget is it cost effective to pay what we did for someone who, as a starter, could at best give you an hour or might be effective coming off the bench for the final half hour?

The rumour was he did not come cheap in which case the answer must be an emphatic no.

I'm quite sure that this was due to the Ebbsfleet manager telling Moncur to score, why won't Kev learn and instead keeps telling players to not score or even shoot. FACT

Not surprising. It will be the same with Bonne if he leaves. If we’d gone to Boston instead of Ebbsfleet it would have been 0-0 or 0-1.
