Browne has claimed the only explanation is his food/drink was spiked. I assume until they have investigated further they aren't going to make a song and dance about it. I would assume 99.9% that he won't fight Haye now, even though that fight was never happening in May prior to the drugs test.

Nah I think Briggs is pencilled in for Haye. Another easy blow out, but at least the pressers should be entertaining.

Im not totally sold on him either, but I don't dislike him. As a person, i can see why people would dislike him, but it's all just an act/show for the cameras. I don't think he's a great boxer, and certainly won't emulate his old mans success.

I love English but I think he is the reason I have a bit of a dislike towards him. He is in a tough weight when there is plenty better than him. Billy Joe Saunders is a much better boxer and will be massive whereas Eubank Jr will stay big because of the name rather than his ability.

Announcing his opponent next week, I would assume it's going to be Briggs. LETS GO CHAMP!!

Doesn't look like a full crowd for the Eubank fight. Unfortunately I'm stuck at work so have had to miss the Brook fight but will be watching it on sky go.

Didnt expect anything less TBH. And I've gotta be honest, I'm not even bothered about Brook's defence. I like him, but his career has become laughable & that's due to his promoter. **** Hearn

I have started to the notice the more and more I get into boxing that Hearn isn't a good promoter. He needs to set up a fight with Garcia for Brook. I know Bizier is a mandatory but he should be looking at the bigger fights too.

Good to see Campbell get a win, hopefully he will start to build up his momentum again. Shame like Brook he has a crap promoter.

Nice and easy for Brook there.

Felt sorry for Blackwell but Eubank Jr out boxed him and he stopped him using his signature style of being better in the later rounds. The doc and the ref made the right decision and it's a shame he left on a stretcher and I hope he is ok.

Now onto Hughie Fury!

Good fight, AND at the end the respect was clear for all to see. Correct decision to stop fight and correct winner.

Nick Blackwell suffered a bleed on the brain last night, wishing him a speedy recovery.

David Haye loves using the Facebook live feature. He annoyed he could possibly be facing Lucas Browne in May. That would be a decent fight wish I had bought tickets now if he gets that fight. Just thought he would end up fighting another nobody.

Haye announced his opponent today, another unbeaten unheard of fighter. Fell a bit for him really, he fights someone like this, and gets slated, it's an easy win, blowout etc, he tries to call out Browne, talks about Joshua and Fury and everyone slates him, you don't deserve it, you need to earn it with ranking fights first. Obviously I'm a Haye fan, but it does feel a bit, damned if you do, damned if you don't.

As an aside, he's donating 10% of his ticket sales to Nick Blackwell, no doubt we'll see some more of the above, with claims it's a cynical attempt to boost sales.

Oh, and I managed to get SKY bar tickets for the Joshua fight this morning, very pleased with myself.

Nice one!!! Will see you there then, I can't wait for it. My first ever live boxing experience I can't believe I haven't done it before with the amount of money I have spent on PPV. Thinking of going to the copperbox to watch Billy Joe Saunders, he's one of my favourite boxers at the moment.

Let's be honest Haye was not going to fight anyone else, his stock isn't high enough to attract the big names. I'm surprised he didn't announce he was fighting Briggs! Especially as he made the effort to come over here and call out every British Heavyweight. Haye isn't going to fight Joshua or Fury anytime soon he's a good 3 fights away from it needs to fight someone with at least a bit of a name. Even if it was a Chisora rematch as he's quietly built himself back up and it's a fight I would actually enjoy seeing.

Nice touch on the Blackwell thing but it's something that Chris Eubank Jr should be doing not running his mouth. They are loving the attention and undermining the ref and Blackwell's corner. Even the part timers are getting on their backs which is unfair as no one knew it would go this way. The ref and the corner made the right decisions at the time. It's so easy for people to say it should've been stopped earlier, no one knew the circumstances. And Snr was not telling him to go for the body shots because he was worried about him, it was because he thought that would hurt him more as the head shots obviously weren't doing it. It's poor all round from the Eubank's and they have lost all respect from me.

Have just seen the press conference seems Haye is scared to fight Briggs. Bit of a joke really, why would you choose a nobody rather than fight someone who is a name and could help you attract the big names. David Haye is becoming a bit of a joke!

I've rewatched it and it does look a little planned with the hope of a huge bout between them. Could be good bit of business by Haye, but claiming his fight on the 21st of May is one that could go down in history as a great fight is embarrassing. This guy could be worse than De Mori!

To put it into perspective 'The Cobra' fought Denis Bakhtov and went the full distance and beat him by unanimous decision. The same Bakhtov that Joshua knocked out in 2 rounds.

Come on now mate, you've got to admit, it's farcical at best. It's just another 1-round KO, and decent payday for Haye. I say that, as someone who is actually going*

A big part of the problem, is Haye doesn't want to splash out any money on the event. The opponent & the undercard have been thrown together for about £200. Meanwhile, Haye will pocket a cool £3m-£5m. That says it all. The bottom line is, Haye doesn't WANT these fights. He doesn't want tune-ups. He wants the big paydays now. Unfortunately for him, Hearn has no plans of sacrificing AJ, yet, and Tyson/Wilder are tied up in contracts.

Ask yourself this, in what logical way, does This fight do anything productive for Haye's rankings with the different organisations? It simply doesn't. UNLESS, of course, some integral cogs have been nicely greased. That's a win-win situation. Gradually increase your ranking, and therefore "force" a world title shot, by simply fighting no-hopers, for big money in the meantime. Genius.

Its the fans, as usual, who get the raw deal.

*I was more roped into going, than I actually wanted. Still, O2 is a decent night out

Its an awful fight, which will be over, whenever Haye feels like ending it

So do we reckon Broner is the man? He lost his title at the weigh in after coming in overweight. Beats Theophane and calls out Mayweather! They have a rivalry that's been going on for a while now. He was tipped my Mayweather as the man to take his baton. Could he be victim number 50 and finally the true end to Mayweathers professional boxing career?

Interesting article for sure; raises some points clearly, some fairly; and others with the benefit of hindsight and an obvious distaste for Eubank(s).

Uncomfortable all round IMHO. I feel the ref was too slow and should have stopped the fight earlier and I have a bad feeling ng about the genuiness of the Eubank regrets. Boxing is a big loser here. Let's hope Blackwell makes a full recovery.

Great to see Blackwell is out of his coma and here's wishing to a swift recovery back to his feet. I don't think we will see him in the ring again unfortunately.

On another note I enjoyed watching Conor Benn's session at York Hall. Can't wait to see his professional debut live on sat.

Shannon Briggs is becoming my favourite person ever! His "Let's Go Champ" chant is brilliant and he brings entertainment. Calling out Eddie Hearn to set up Haye vs Briggs. Not sure Eddie wants to work with Haye but with the publicity hype Briggs is bringing can't see Eddie saying no and Haye is all about the money so expect it to happen.

AJ this weekend. Urgh. Still bitter I didn't get tickets & I'm questioning the decision to pass on the expensive floor seats I was offered.

I fully expect AJ to win. Martin is poor. Really poor. He won the WT, through pure good luck. That being said, he's 5/1 to win by stoppage. Certainly worth a go.
