Well, what a let down that was. A very old man who's lost his power and stamina, versus a slow pondering giant, who threw more punches, as he was the younger, fitter man, but didn't follow through with his big punches. One of the things you learn in boxing is your big punch has the body behind it. For example the left leg goes forward and you catapult the right fist with shoulder and body following through. Jake Paul was punching and drawing back the fist, no follow through. He reckons he didn't want to knock the legend out. It was what it is, a money making show.

Repeat or revenge.....

I think I have changed my mind about 3 or 4 times this week regarding tonights rematch. My main hypothesis in the buildup was that surely Fury is the one with more wriggle room to make adjustments and to offer more in a sequel.

But, having digested the usual fight week shenanigans, I am now leaning Usyk. Not that press conferences 'body language' wins boxing matches, but its the first page of the book. My word, it kills Tyson, rather absolutely emasculates him when he fails to find a chink in his opponents emotional arsenal. Who is Tyson trying to convince, us...or himself?

Having said that if there ever was a man to write his own story it would be Tyson Fury. Wouldn't surprise me one iota if he steps in that ring and flips the world on its *** again. Only he will know if he can find it within himself to do it, but you can bet your bottom dollar if he does find it usyk will know about it come midnight.

I think the biggest thing to take into account is how Fury has conducted himself in the lead up. He’s stayed away from socials, been out in Malta training hard. He has shut out all his family and any other distractions.

The key thing for him is to not have so many people in his ear in the corner inbetween rounds. The last fight you had Sugar Hill, Andy Lee and John Fury all barking advice at him. It should’ve been Sugar Hill and Sugar Hill only.

He’s come in heavy, I feel he’s going for a same sort of performance as he did in Wilder II. He’s going to be on the front foot and look for that knock out. Which is either going to work or he will find himself under immense pressure.

It’s going to be a great fight like the 1st and I’d love to see Fury win so we can run it back for a 3rd time!

I just want Dave Allen to win more than anything.

That reminded me of the John Ryder Screwjob. Absolute bull****.

Dave Allen was jobbed there. But, lets be honest, it's still a huge loss for Fisher anyway. If you're going life and death with a 2024 Dave Allen you're a busted flush. Hopefully Dave gets a call again soon and have another nice earner. Lord knows where you go with Fisher.

Yes, a few rumours on socials that Fury was apparently wearing a weighted vest. But lets see, I too think he is going to emulate what he did in Wilder 2 also.

Here goes, heres to a good one.

Scoring atrocious tonight.
Well Usyk is apparently the Saudi's adopted Golden Boy. They showered him with extra super expensive gifts after the last fight. Who knows if the judges were paid off. It wouldn't be the first time. It just seems strange for all three judges to have the same score, and especially making a very close fight, look not even close.

Odd you say that given the main man publicly said he wanted Fury to win.
