What a crap night for George Groves. He looks a shell of his former self. All his attributes & talents went out of the window. His speed wasn't there, his jab wasn't there, his power wasn't there, even his head, didn't seem there. He definitely lost the fight. I had it a very close, but clear 115-113 for Jack.

Personally I believe if he'd stayed with Booth, he'd be a World Champion by now. Such a shame to see a very promising career, currently slipping into oblivion.

Another easy win for Joshua. Nothing surprising, nothing new learned, nothing gained. Awful matchmaking, in terms of career progression. Excellent matchmaking, in terms of Eddie's pockets filling up. Oh well, on to the next tomato can, before rolling over Whyte later this year, or early next year.

Got myself a free ticket to Bad Intentions Joshua vs Whyte. Turns out a lad I used to work with his cousin is Tommy Martin, the light welterweight boxer who has been boxing on the undercards of Joshua's fights recently. So he is sorting me out a ticket!

Quality. You know the reason why the heavyweight division died? Because it lost its characters and became dull & repetitive, inside & outside the ring.

Love him or hate him, Tyson is what heavyweight boxing needs.

WAR Luke

Talking of boxing, anyone going to the event this Saturday at the palace inn hotel in Southend ? It's called beginner to winner ?

Klitschko has sustained a calf injury so the fight has now been postponed! FFS!!

3 big fights have now fallen through for Tyson. He's not only lost out on big money, but he's had to shell out a 6-figure-sum on training camps. Very unlucky & I wouldn't be overly surprised if the Wlad fight doesn't happen at all now.

In other news, I've heard Khan - Pacman is a done deal, the final pieces are just being ironed out. One of them is the destination, with Macau looking the favourite

I hope Pac Man teaches that jumped up little **** a lesson.

Shame about the Fury fight and his luck really isn't in. Wonder if they will set up a fight against Wilder whilst waiting for the Klitschko fight?

IIRC Povetkin is the number one contender for Wilder's WBC title, and Wlad is supposedly on his radar aswell, so I doubt Fury will be anywhere near first in line. Fury genuinely has had bad luck & its cost him literally thousands.

Pacman is done. My initial thought is Khan on points. Can't see that changing

Pacman KO 3rd round!

Pacman KO 3rd round!

Whenever Khan's involved, you can't rule out a KO I suppose :hilarious:

Pac's not stopped anyone since Hatton though, which by the time of this fight, will be 7 years. I'm going Khan by SD

Seems like it's a good news day for boxing. Fury vs Klitschko is back on!! November 28th.

Also Pacquaio's camp saying that Khan isn't the front runner for his comeback fight. Personally I don't think Khan deserves the fight, prove yourself against Kell Brook and then I will believe he does. Until that day I don't think he deserves it.

A lot of talk on the Mayweather camp about there being no comeback. It's almost everyday now which leads me to think it's just tactics to engineer even more money out of a final 50-0 bout.

According to many reliable sources, aswell as people in the boxing world. The Pac-Khan fight is a done deal, and has been for a few weeks. And in fairness, based on his resume, he deserves it far more than Brook does.

Ill be amazed if Floyd doesn't fight for a 50th time. Marciano's record has stood for what, 50-60 years? An ego-maniacal man like Floyd won't allow that kind of opportunity to pass by, especially when the deck is stacked in his favour & the pros far outwit the cons

How many times has this happened to Brook?

I'm not saying Brook deserves it because his stock isn't as high as Khan. But there are plenty of better opponents that Pacquiao should face, he lost to the no.1 pound for pound fighter in the world. Fighting Khan would be like Manchester United losing to Real Madrid then having to play Bolton the next game (see what I did there). But them on the flip side maybe he needs an easy fight to boost his confidence.

I really hope the Pacquaio Khan fight doesn't happen so Brook gets his shot at Khan. I honestly think Khan is scared of Brook because he knows he's the better fighter and will ruin his career. So I can understand him chasing the big pay days but he doesn't deserve them.

Brook is half decent, but due to his weak resume, it's hard to actually tell how good he is. He's not yet been in with a genuine elite level fighter. Khan's resume is a lot stronger, his name is big in America, so it's easier (and more importantly) more profitable to set up a bout with Pac.

To be totally honest, I think a Khan-Pac bout would be a good entertaining fight, which is irrespective of whether Khan deserves it or not. FWIW, I don't necessarily think he deserves it, but I'm not overly fussed either way. I just want to see decent match ups.

The Khan-Brook fight only happens IF/WHEN Khan wants it. That to me, says it all about both fighters. Brook needs Khan. Khan can still top the bill in Vegas, rake in millions & face big names. Brook can't, despite being a World Champion lol.

Lucas Mattysee fights tonight. The Argentinian is an absolute banger, and is probably the 3rd most fearsome puncher on the planet. Narrowly in front on Thurman, and just behind Kovalev & Triple G. I fancy him to come through tonight in convincing fashion, and I'd love to see him step upto 147lbs & face Pac, Khan, Brook or even Thurman next. Guarenteed action.

Actually, thinking about it logically, apart from Khan, who is there for Pac? Brook? Thurman? Garcia? Erroll Spence?

Brook - not a draw in America.
Thurman - too much of a risk for Pac
Garcia - possible
Spence - not a big enough draw. Yet.

Khan makes financial sense, aswell as being beatable.

I see Postol knocked Mattysee out in the 10th. There goes his chance of a fight with Pac man.

Yep, along with his career aswell. A lot of speculation bouncing around, that the fight was actually fixed. Gotta say, the way Lucas failed to even try & get up, doesn't help the situation. Shame. A pure warrior, who's seemingly done now.

DeGale vs Eubank Jr sounds like it could be interesting. Love DeGale's comments about Eubank Jr being a ******** and everyone knows it. Made me chuckle, as the bloke is nothing like his dad! Watched a clip of his Dad's loss against a very young Joe Calzaghe. What a class act he looked even at a young age.

Eubank Jr needs to prove himself with a couple more decent bouts before he thinks about DeGale.

Brook has pulled out of the Chavez fight due to a rib injury sustained during sparring!

On the subject of Eubank's I love Snr but does he seriously think his son would beat GGG? I think he is probably the only person in boxing who thinks that.
