GCSE results tomorrow

it's not the exams that are a pain, but the coursework. my music teacher failed to record my a-level recital, and lost all my coursework which was handwritten, so i had to do it all out again

Exactly, the coursework was the difficult thing and you can't make youngsters realise that it's actually the easiest part because of the time and resources available, they have to work it out for themselves. Unfortunately he also had some lost (his memory stick actually got nicked), and just never really got the incentive back. Moral - back up all your work in more than one way.

My sister was pleased with her results yesterday and managed to get a C in one subject which was not expected :)

J, you were obviously one of the lucky ones that didn't need to work hard to get good grades! Unfortunately it isn't that way for everyone, and some people really have to try hard to even achieve what is seen as a lower grade!!!

Em.

No, i took mine a few years ago, A* and A's. When you have got A's in A levels, then come and talk to me.

**** easy exams, FACT!

Sorry Sir, just let me have the chance to even do my A levels before you belittle, thanks. :D

Yeah similar thing happened to a mate, because of this he needed 90% on his exam to even get a C.

The night I got my GSCE results I did half a trip and about 8 bottles of Newcie Brown whilst wandering the streets of Rayleigh.

Can't remember anything else about it except chucking up over someones car and being helped along by a fat bloke with big thick glasses.
I woke up the next day in the Crown Hill bogs with a headache and a sore arse for some reason.

Great days.
