GCSE results tomorrow

Thanks mate. Well good luck to everyone who is collecting their results tomorrow, if mine are good then I'll be back on this thread tomorrow, if not, then it was a good thread.

Thanks.

I remember my GCSE results day. Was well happy with mine so went straight down to the Hogshead. Two years later A level results day. Not quite as happy but still got into uni easy enough so straight down the the hogshead. But then those were the days when the summer was actually sunny

Wasn't really a lot of parties going on on results day, but there was one heck of a party in the park on the last day.

Sounds Just like me that! Great GCSE results and not so great A levels. :D

My sister is geting hers tomorrow, but she has already started on a college course so she should hopefully be happy tomorrow seeing as she has already started.

Em.

I got me A level results last Thursday and the advice I'd give you now is seriously don't worry about it. There is nothing you can do now, what is on that bit of paper won't change overnight. You will get the results you deserve.

No, I'm up in Gloucester. Just went down the local park, which was besieged by pretty much everyone in my year. Not much of the first, from what I gathered, plenty of the second, but not a lot of game playing. Generally it was just everyone chatting, larking about, picking up a few extra signatures in the leaver's book (which in some cases looked a awful lot like those radioactive-green science books :whistling: ), that kind of thing. Bloody good fun though.

My son gets his today, and he's quite worried as he knows he should have worked harder on his coursework. He needs an average 4.7 to get on the courses he wants at SEEVIC, with all levels graded from an 8 at A* down to a 1 for a G. Fingers crossed.

Good luck everyone waiting for results - and don't forget those anxious parents waiting at home to hear the news either!

Wish him the best of luck! I konow how he feels about his coursework as I have just found out some of my grades from Edexcel ResultsPlus online and I got an A in Business Studies but I was very close to an A* and one of my bits of coursework was awful. Well there you go!

Appleton, automatic places guaranteed as it's a main feeder school, but if you don't get the right average, they can't guarantee you places on the courses you want. Think he's up at school now with his mates, most of whom will have walked it with their eyes shut!

I went greensward which doesn't guarantee you. Hmm.

No news yet, they've decided to wait for 10 o'clock to go up there. Good luck all!
