For those driving back to Southend on Monday night - there is a planned closure of the A127 between Noak Bridge and Wickford junctions. Road is closed from 9pm to 5am.

This is why i think we might sell out at Gateshead and RootsHallBloke (RHB) thinks i'm nuts, not had anything to get excited about for years have we. Thats at least the 2nd game that the singing has continued after the match in that stand.

We will sell out Gateshead at least the 2400 first allocation

Tbf. Anything above 1500 on a bank holiday Monday for a 5th tier game is outstanding. Especially when it's all options of planes, trains and automobiles are either silly money or a ridiculously long journey.

For context, I doubt Gateshead would bring more than a 10th of that.

I think Gateshead took approx 140 fans to Boston on Saturday which is 180 miles away. That’s a good away following for them.

Should be a fairly easy drive up there, 4.5hrs without a stop, only about half hr past Hartlepool and i worked in the morning before driving up there in Aug was it.
So will be easily tucked up by 11pm after putting the bins out on my return.
For those of you umming and arring, just remember success with this football club seems to only come around every ten yrs, so if this team suprises us like it has done at times, you dont want to miss a minute of the season.
Thats my take on it.
Let the Blue Army assemble en masse and remember how awful we were back in November.
