I don't see what he brings to us. His hold up play is poor and lacks pace to stretch defenders. Atleast bonne is handful for defenders and is prepared to chase lost causes.

So on to Rochdale thursday week . Team we have already beaten this season 10 DAYS of rest between games .guess the player will have 2 days off before training starts again .

Couldn't attend today so decided to purchase a stream pass from DAZN and what a stressful experience that was.It was awfull poor sound quality picture constantly jumping.DAZN recently said to me that the reason they decided to increase the cost ot pass from £9.99 to £14.99 was to improve the service. Would be interested to learn what others think.
As far as the game was concerned we totally controlled the game but just couldn't find the goal we needed,which sums up the team no cutting edge.

Wow just wow, just go back to the protracted takeover in the summer...there was no club at one point, done, gone.
Yet here we are in the play offs. Another testament to Kevin Maher to pile on top of all the others.
Delighted for all the players who have been here for Rat Martins shambles.
The game itself was tense, we dominated the 1st half imo and looked composed and certainly not trying to see out a draw.
2nd half went ultra cagey but the draw was enough.
My MOM was Goodliffe.
Being able to have something positive on the pitch to point too is a long time coming and this was essentially a reset season on and off the pitch.
Yet here we are in the play offs. Another testament to Kevin Maher to pile on top of all the others.

Massive achievement considering where we were at Christmas. Congrats to all involved. It wasn’t a pretty game today by any stretch but it was never going to be. My one criticism would be last 20 minutes we were in the corner too early winding the clock down. Kill the game and they have no chance and I don’t think we really showed enough intent on killing it and that gave Gateshead a punchers chance. But we’ve never done anything the easy way.
Not to put a dampener on things as I really didn’t have this on my bingo card a few months ago.

Sound quality was awful, only one camera, but the stream was fine. Ironic for the worlds number 1 sports broadcaster (according to the adverts at half time)

And he is an absolute asset in defence. We were leaking goals from corners and set pieces and then Goodliffe and Hopper joined and we seemed to have solved that problem

Happy days!! Not a classic, thought we looked tense and a bit nervy. How annoying we missed about 4 really clear cut chances, but Gateshead barely had a shot. All we needed was the draw, so cant help but think that is what we were playing for as it gives us a slighly easier run in! Doesnt matter, I would not have predicted this 2 weeks ago!
