Game of Thrones

Just saw Camelot advertised on C4, and after a quick IMDB search saw it's the same sort of thing with nudey ladies and violence, but according to the reviews, it's pony. Has anyone seen it?

No, but this from today's Sunday Times:

"...beguiling (if a bit comical)...glossy visuals, steamy sex, ropy dialogue and unexpectedly good actors."

I believe Eva Green gets them out a lot.

Written by Chris Chibnall I think, who wrote the Silurian episode of Doctor Who last series. Wouldn't hold much hope for it. Saying that he did write the fantasic "United".

It was absolute toilet. I managed 20 mins before I turned it off. More wooden than Ikea.

Well well . Thats set up game of thrones for a one hell of a finale.

Didnt see that coming

It's going to be a long wait for Series 2.

thank god for the comedy value of The Imp, he gets all the best lines.

Warrior: So how would you like to die, Tyran son of Tywin?
Imp: In my own bed...at the age of 80...with a belly full of wine...and a girls mouth around my ****.

Last in the series tonight, How do we think it will end?

There are more books in the series, so I believe we're going to have a few cliffhangers tonight.

I usually record this and watch it later in the week, but I really can't wait for this final episode; I'll be glued to the telly at 9pm tonight.

Apparently Season 2 was signed the minute episode 1 went out

I have a feeling something from north of the wall may create a very uneasy alliance between house Lannister and Stark.

I thought maybe the dothrakians would team up with the Starks as Ned sent them a message, and they are due to sail over soon. And yes whatever is north of the wall will have an impact on the whole shenanigans

No surprise re season two, although I read in The Times that it has merely been a decent, rather than huge, ratings hit.

I keep on forgetting about those rascals on the other side of the wall but of course the very first scene of the entire show was about that wasn't it.

Still, only ten more minutes of work, one supermarket shop and two baby baths between me, a glass of wine and that final episode. Get in.

Have a feeling King Dothraki is going to be a changed man after his near death experience.

Just watched it and definitely a changed man.

Great first series and bought the books now. Bit surprised to read that most of the characters are 13 years old, including the blond dragon girl.

Even Robb Stark and his half brother are only 14 or so.

Having read the books first I have to say this is wonderfully adapted, but like Jam Man says if you hadn't read the books you could be forgiven for thinking the characters are older.
