Breaking News Full interview with Justin Rees 12th September

How refreshing it is to hear from our chairman after decades of nonsense. Justin is astute, measured in what he says and being as open as he can be. We are very lucky to have him and COSU at the helm with Kev & team on the football side. We’ll get there step by step. It will never be enough for some but Rome wasn’t built in a day. Let’s all enjoy the journey as he says 😉

Good to hear from him, but we didn't really learn too much there......and I'm sure he called me unbalanced at one stage ?!?

Hopefully the more in-depth interview will reveal exactly what restrictions we are facing re rebuilding Roots Hall.

Assume this thread will be folded into the COSU Communications thread?

Anyway, my take on it was that Justin didn't really want to have to do it, but has done it to stop the noise. Didn't really say too much apart from we know what needs to be done, and we are getting on with it. We need more players but will depend on what Kev wants and we will have a way of getting feedback collected easier. Which will probably enable Matt to stop viewing SZ ten times a day.

A few word salad parts but I'm sure when the plans to redevelop the North and West Stands (including the closed corner bit) have been finalised, a bit more will be said. And in a happier way.
