Canm anyone shed any light on the rumour that i heard from someone at the training ground that Simon Francis aint training today cos he has travelled for talks with a CCC side.

Plymouth was mentioned.

Anyone near the training ground to see if he is there or whether this is a wind up?????

TBH i have heard that the staff arent going to be getting the dinners anymore , because ron has sold everything . Even the kitchen sink. This ground better materialise by the summer or i dread to think what sort of pre-season we would have.

Yeah. We need a right-back that is a half decent defender, then get a right-midfeilder that can do what Francis has been doing.

This way we don't leave the right wing exponsed everytime.

seriously? He played quality against wycombe, also we wouldn't of scored against col ewe if it wasn't for his quality cross. We need him! He's got well loads of assists this season, and a goal! He's getting better at defending these days aswell. Comon...

It's not a right-backs job to assist, it is his job to defend....and his **** at that. Has no passion to play for us.

Francis is not the best defender in the world. If he was he certainly would not be playing for a league 1 outift.

He is the ONLY player in our team who consistantly crosses a ball with any effect. Im sure that stats would prove that in the assists collum.

He is invaluable and for me he would be sorely missed and not easily replaced with our budget of errrm nothing.
