Last time I checked the thread title was about Fortune's new deal, not mrsblue's attendance at games/annoyingness. Any other thoughts on Fortune?

He goes back to defend set pieces, and Cox is usually left up field. I haven't especially noticed him win headers defensively but I haven't noticed him going awol either.
He does seem to want to get the ball forward quickly and knows where other team mates are, or are going to make movement to.
Seems a clever, intelligent player.
Back on thread Mr Manor?

He brings so much to the team. If he could score too he'd still be playing top level.
I hope he scores tomorrow to silence some doubters. Or doubter

Some interesting posts on this thread from just over a month, and a few goals, ago.

And some interesting ideas of what being a supporter entails.

Brings a lot to the team. Hold up play is good, he is strong and for a big lad can turn on a sixpence. I doubt he will score many but will get plenty of assists. Getting him signed up for 18 months is good business. As for being 35, he is more like 25, so much energy and power and will get better the fitter he gets

:Worthy::Worthy::Worthy: that's called foresight

Silence is golden. I suspect it's got so fed up with us being brilliant its changed to Orient just to find something to moan about.

I think we have enough conclusive evidence to label it the least knowledgeable football fan on the planet :winking:

You lot clearly are not thinking in terms of the future .

Just imagine if we are promoted....Marc cannot score in league 1,what chance then in the championship!

Marc has scored 4 goals from open play in his last 73 appearances...5 including from the spot, his pitch minutes with us is hardly earth shattering, next season will probably be even less.

I cannot understand the length of contract, that is all.

If MAF keeps up his recent tally of goals and assists with any luck we might all get the chance to see how rubbish he will be in the Championship.

Hmmm recently he had done well very well....18 months at his age is an awful long time in soccer.

Your right. I was saying the same thing to an Italian chap yesterday. Totti I think his name was. But he said it's the Welsh folk you want to watch out for. Some charlatan called Giggs apparently!

MAF is just 3 months older than Zlatan Ibrahimovic and I don't hear many Man U fans harping on about his age as he keeps knocking in the goals. If, as we are often being told, 60 is the new 40, then both these players have got a couple of years or more left in them.

We need a quality squad to be successful, This is where he is a good addition and a good signing for 18 months. Always looks positive in the warm-ups, even when not starting. Nearly always effective straight away when he comes on as a sub.
Never gives the ball away, can maintain possession or hold up play. Keeps himself fit for his age. Sure he must be a good influence on Ranger. Ticks a lot of boxes for me as a squad player.

Think he's proven himself to be more than a squad player. More chance of him staying fit than some over the other older names we've signed in the past.
