At this very early stage and after a couple of introductions from the bench, but with what he has in his locker; pace, drive, can deliver a cross and not afraid to shoot, once he has properly bedded in......


We could have a player here!

Hopefully, he will get a start before the season ends now he’s completed his statutory first three games on the bench and 20 minutes game time . It’s not easy learning Maher ball.

It would be fantastic if Leon started tomorrow. However, I think Kev (and DC and MB) want to ease him into his NL 'journey' so I wouldn't be surprised if his full start debut won't happen for a week or two yet, sadly.

What about first touch/control of the ball? I'm surprised nobody's yet mentioned it. Most players at this level can't seem to trap a bag of cement without it getting away from them.
