Films you've watched recently.

Suffragette.

Interesting film .

Pity it wasn't made 20 or so years ago.Vanessa Redgrave would have been much better than Meryl Streep as Emmeline Pankhurst.

How very sad, just watching The Dambusters, and they've had to give an apology for "offensive language".

I assume you're talking about the name of the dog, which in the modern day it is clearly offensive.

The film's not set in the modern day though, it wasn't just the name of the dog, but also the code name for when the dams were breached.

sure, but they want to play the film before the watershed, and so they need to provide a heads up.

Just finished Oliver - the musical film version. Must have watched bits of it many times over, but never from start to finish without breaks. Stand out performances from so many, but Ron Moody was absolutely brilliant as Fagin. 9/10

This is a brilliant film, Oliver Reed, Shani Wallis, Ron Moody and Jack Wild all give fantastic lead performances, I love it! We did used to make some fantastic films!
