Films you've watched recently.

Monsters Inc - I do love Christmas when you can re-watch so many varied old favourites!

Macbeth.Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard were excellent.David Thewlis was a pretty good Duncan too.

The real star though was the Scottish countryside.

For anyone with a interest in religious history and a dislike of the Catholic Church and religion in general I can highly recommend 'Spotlight'. 8/10

The true story of the Boston Globe's uncovering and exposure of the child abuse scandal that rocked the Catholic Church in America in the late 90's and early 2000's.

We watched Tarrentino's latest offering, usual brilliant stuff with Sam Jackson in fine form...8/10 from us.

We're planning on going to see that,

BTW have you seen Django Unchained, watched it over the Christmas holidays, very good film, entertaining, brutal and thought provoking - you gotta love a Quentin film...

Defo go see it as it's QT at his best, unchained was another excellent effort.

Watched Up the other day for the first time in years. The depiction of Carl and Ellie's life, all done just with pictures and no words, still gets me. Not my favourite Pixar film, but that section is one of the studio's very finest moments.

RIPD.

Thought it'd be good as a "kill an hour and a half with Netflix" thing but by god this is dumb. And cliche. Not even Jeff Bridges can save this.
