Back to Bing it is a fabulous archive of free vintage films----I have seen quite a few of them----Some that would be hard to find on DVD.

Awakenings - De Niro amd Robin Williams 1990! Based on a true story of a drug that ‘awoke’ catatonic encephalitis victims.

I can’t believe I’ve never heard of this film before. Is it unmissable? Probably not. Is it watchable? It most certainly is. De Niro pretty damned good (as always).

Saw Atonement again on BBC1 last night (and in the early hours):Wonderful British film.

Remember thinking at thetime that I much preferred Balands (Malick's first fim).Have to confess to not being much of a TM fan though.Find a lot of his stuff pretentious.

Haven’t seen it in a long time but Brillant story , very well acted and very sad
