Films you've watched recently.

The Secret Life of Pets...apparently MK Jnrs new favourite film (it's awesome!)....but it's ok, a few good moments but you've seen the majority in the trailer. 6/10

Watched 'The Revenant' on BT on Saturday night,

Very good film, the bear scene is mad! Nice bit of gore, and nice 'Horsey' sleeping bag sported by DeCaprio !

8/10

Qissa - I was looking through my on demand movies on TV and this caught my eye. Not my usual choice by any means at all. 2015 Punjabi (subtitled) film about a Sikh man's desire to have a male heir but daughters keep coming. The 4th daughter is raised and treated like a son. No special effects, no CGI just stunning visuals a good plot and well acted.

I'm not sure how freely available this might be but I would advocate trying to get hold of it. At least an 8 out of 10 more probably a 9. The lead female actress playing a boy/man was exceptional.

Youth Micheal Caine, Harvey Keitel, Rachel Weisz.

Fabulous film. At least an 8/10. Humour, tragedy centring on two people taking their annual holiday in a Swiss Spa. Where to start?

The music is breathtaking. Several Cameo's. For example. I didn't realise it was Maradonna until ball skills with a tennis ball. An amazingly nude model playing a Miss Universe. Watch it!

I won't have anyone in my house who doesn't like The Beatles - could never imagine marrying one!

Haha, she's a fan of the music (lets face it, anyone who isn't is just plain weird & wrong) but not so keen on a 2hr documentary when Bridget ****ing Jones is out with another loads of gubbins.

Ah, not so bad then. But really, Bridget Jones over The Beatles? Bloody women...

9/11 Follow the money !..documentary

Fascinating story on how people became very rich on that fateful day, insider trading before the event,Silverstien making nearly 5 billion and the Pentagon accounts department wiped out meaning the several trillion black hole was lost forever.

Hunt For The Wilderpeople - Kiwi film where a troubled boy and his foster father go on the run in rural New Zealand. Very funny, highly recommended. 9/10
