FC - Week 5

I've corrected your mistake :)

I dont like the way these FC games are going. Normally you get your bigger score int he first innings and then your 2nd innings is normally lower and its difficult to chase totals such as 300+. Will be interesting to see if this changes come next season!

Kev

Oh dear. They've managed to see off my opening bowlers. 36-0 off 17.1 overs. It is going to be very, very difficult for me to winkle them out now.

Ive got 'The Key', he's got the secret, hes got the wickets, all bloody day!

We made the batting points, hurrah. Sadly their star bat didn't go first over this time so now both big guns are out there. Need to get rid of one of these pronto if we have any aspirations of getting finished today.

End of Over 13 (1 runs). Every_one_a_Wrongun: 47-1, runrate=3.62 (1st Inn: 216-10)

Barraclough* 31 (77 balls)
Tshisevhe 0 (5 balls)

Last Wicket: Sellars c. Ricketts b. Oconnor 82 (FOW: 168/7)

Struggling to break through their lower order. I think he's juggled his line-up a bit, putting better bats with lower PFL down the order. Des and the Skip bowling well though.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 61 (2 runs). General Stars: 145-1, runrate=2.38 (1st Inn: 68-10)
Trail by 11 runs. (DIBS DIPPERS 224-10)
Karel 15-5-31-0
Philip* 25 (57 balls)
Bayliss 59 (197 balls)

Last Wicket: Lamb c. Mohammed b. Bradley 52 (FOW: 83/1)

Kev's got this game won I reckon.

FFS with my captain, putting 5 and 6 bowler both in at once, they're getting r*ped.... bring back The Key and the Tobaconist!!

End of Over 28 (12 runs). barton rovers: 117-2, runrate=4.18 (1st Inn: 73-10)
Trail by 235 runs. (N-Trance shire 425-3 dec)

Harkness* 28 (40 balls)
Wasserman 49 (42 balls)

Last Wicket: Steadhart c. Fray b. Keehan 16 (FOW: 51/2)

Cooky gets his bunny again and then Hot Rod picks up his first wickets of the match to effectively end it as a contest. Askew is in good form!

14.6 W Cook to Johnson
Caught behind! Cook digs the ball in short, strikes Johnson on the gloves and the ball pops up to Askew for an easy catch.

17.2 W Horrigan to Baldwin
What a catch! Who needs a slip cordon when Askew is in the team?

17.4 W Horrigan to Evan
Horrigan is delighed by that catch, Askew dived wide to his left to take a stupendous catch off the inside edge of Evan's bat!

End of Over 18 (Maiden). Every_one_a_Wrongun: 58-4, runrate=3.22 (1st Inn: 216-10)
Trail by 89 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 363-7 dec)
Horrigan 1-1-0-2
Malcolm* 0 (7 balls)
Kesterton 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Evan c. Askew b. Horrigan 0 (FOW: 58/4)

Now we just need to finish things off tonight.

but i didnt at the start of the day, there top 4 didnt seem to bad, luckily The Key took them out cheap... but cos i bowled them out in 30 overs in the first innings early today, and we're bowling again, i guess Gerbil decided to throw these two in for the hell of it!

Thats better, Bhutia back in and only 2 runs conceded..

End of Over 32 (2 runs). barton rovers: 140-2, runrate=4.38 (1st Inn: 73-10)
Trail by 212 runs. (N-Trance shire 425-3 dec)
Bhutia 1-0-2-0
Harkness* 43 (50 balls)
Wasserman 56 (57 balls)

Last Wicket: Steadhart c. Fray b. Keehan 16 (FOW: 51/2)

Almost over here, Garrity making as much impact with the bat as he did with the ball. Funny thing is he earns £7,700 p/w so he surely can't be that bad! 0 in both innings and 0-157 from 21 overs when bowling. It's wasn't bad fitness either! Pretty good figures for Hot Rod though:

End of Over 22 (Maiden). Every_one_a_Wrongun: 58-8, runrate=2.64 (1st Inn: 216-10)
Trail by 89 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 363-7 dec)
Horrigan 3-3-0-4
Jones* 0 (1 balls)
Austin 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Boyd c. Cunningham b. Horrigan 0 (FOW: 58/8)
