Rosefield 21-2-58-1
Law* 0 (1 balls)
Prasad 0 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Raziuddin Run Out 100 (FOW: 493/6)

Raz run out the ball after reaching his ton. 2 wickets have fallen today, which could bode well for me.

jeez, take your time boys!!

End of Over 50 (Maiden). Come on you Wolves: 90-9, runrate=1.80
Trail by 363 runs. (N-Trance shire 453-1)
Keehan 18-11-19-2
Hastings* 34 (90 balls)
Julian 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Francois c. Bhutia b. Keehan 1 (FOW: 90/9)

Collapsed this morning, but I'm not fussed as it gets me bowling at them a bit quicker.

End of Over 128 (6 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 509-9, runrate=3.98
Nolan 27-5-99-3
Law* 14 (23 balls)
Moodley 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Brinkhuys b. Nolan 1 (FOW: 509/9)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 128 (6 runs, 1lb). Rival Schools: 430-9, runrate=3.36
Higgs 21-3-69-1
Muggins* 172 (283 balls)
Gordon 1 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Flitney b. Bradley 0 (FOW: 423/9)

Good fightback by Mrs BB.

If we can see this through to tea we should get the third day.

End of Over 75 (3 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 395-4, runrate=5.27
Lead by 309 runs. (Gods of Chaos 86-10)
Sharpe 16-3-46-0
Curtis* 146 (139 balls)
Sheppard 31 (58 balls)

Last Wicket: Maymann b. Kemp 110 (FOW: 314/4)

Annoyingly have lost two wickets this morning.
Pembridge added only 3 to his overnight score and was out in the first over for 117, whilst Thomas went for 60 off 50 odd balls.

451-4.

I set my declaration target at 650, in the hope of extending it to a third day for both financial and fitness reasons. I reckoned it would take about 50 overs to add the extra 300 runs, leaving me with 60 overs to bowl them out on. If I had to bowl more overs than that, I wanted my bowlers to have a night's rest first. Not bowling until this afternoon should also give them more time to recover, although the danger is that they will now have to bat.

The other factor is that tommorow's weather forecast is for cloudy and humid, ideal bowling conditions in contrast to today's sunshine.

End of Over 22 (13 runs). 1 1=6: 147-0, runrate=6.68 (1st Inn: 276-10)
Lead by 357 runs. (General Stars 66-10)
Tomlinson 2-0-22-0
Kone* 94 (73 balls)
Crane 51 (60 balls)

Im not totally sure why he didn't make me follow on tbh. Would have been over by about 2pm if he had done. They are now 357 in the lead where to be honest, 157 would be enough!

Kev

He probably wants the dosh Kev.

Anyway, my numbers 7 and 11 have now proceeded to bat out 6 sucessive maidens ! Idiots ! Hit out or get out FFS !!!

End of Over 134 (Maiden). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 509-9, runrate=3.80
Nolan 30-8-99-3
Law* 14 (41 balls)
Moodley 0 (18 balls)

Last Wicket: Brinkhuys b. Nolan 1 (FOW: 509/9)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB wrapped up her oppo's innings very quickly this morning

End of Over 132 (3 runs). Rival Schools: 435-10, runrate=3.30
Higgs 22-4-72-2
Muggins* 176 (298 balls)

Disappointed to see that my gate receipts are down £20,000 today.

The only reason I can think of is that the weather is sunny so everyone is going in the cheap seats. I suppose this makes some sense as in helpful bowling conditions the game is more likely to last 2 days instead of 3, and it would be unfair if teams lost out financially because of the weather.

End of Over 135 (Maiden, 1lb). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 510-10, runrate=3.78
Rosefield 27-7-59-4
Law* 14 (42 balls)

Finally all out !

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 2 (Maiden). DIBS DIPPERS: 4-0, runrate=2.00
Trail by 431 runs. (Rival Schools 435-10)
Gordon 1-1-0-0
Potter* 3 (5 balls)
Owens 1 (7 balls)

there second innings going pretty much the same way as there first... first for out for less than 20... then they got a fairly resiliant but not run scoring middle and lower... expect an innings and 230 run win sometime around tea i guess!

End of Over 9 (1 run). Come on you Wolves: 18-4, runrate=2.00 (1st Inn: 111-10)
Trail by 324 runs. (N-Trance shire 453-1)
Mansell 5-1-8-2
Thackeray* 9 (13 balls)
Candlish 2 (6 balls)

Last Wicket: Drolkop c. Fray b. Mansell 3 (FOW: 10/4)

Cold Rod is building nicely. I've promised him a cut of tomorrow's gate money if he can nurse the remaining crap batsmen through the day. Would be nice for Sandy to get at least 50 for XP purposes.

End of Over 87 (Maiden). ShrimperZone CC: 449-5, runrate=5.16
Lead by 363 runs. (Gods of Chaos 86-10)
Matthews 20-3-71-1
Curtis* 172 (175 balls)
Sandile 12 (22 balls)

Last Wicket: Sheppard c. Burgess b. Longrigg 39 (FOW: 416/5)

Made the breakthrough, but this has draw all over it.

The players are off the field for lunch.

End of Over 25 (5 runs). The banbury cricket : 99-1, runrate=3.96
Trail by 286 runs. (Napster's XI 385-7)
Holroyd 4-0-16-1
Mullins* 41 (59 balls)
Morne 4 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Wray lbw b. Holroyd 51 (FOW: 95/1)

24.6 . Holroyd to Morne
Slow delivery, had a feel at it, beaten.
24.5 . Holroyd to Morne
Morne lets it go through to Back.
24.4 4 Holroyd to Morne
The edge could have been caught had Back dived to his left, but the ball races away for four behind him.
24.3 . Holroyd to Morne
Straight bat, defensive stroke, point quick to field.
24.2 W Holroyd to Wray
Hawkeye shows the ball pitched in line and was just going to clip the top of leg stump. The umpire had no hesitation in giving that out, good decision!

559-4 at lunch. I added over 200 in the morning session.

May struggle to get this into day 3, with the declaration less than 100 runs away.

Got battered about the few overs they took to get to their dec. score, but Bartlett and Flood managed to see off the 14 over before lunch, this looks to be heading for a draw, now lets see if I can get max batting points.

End of Over 14 (3 runs). Southend United: 37-0, runrate=2.64
Trail by 515 runs. (BWB 552-2)
Naidoo 7-0-25-0
Bartlett* 27 (37 balls)
Flood 8 (48 balls)

You can now see your players fitness 'in running'. Good to know that Cold Rod is still sublime after 179 from 182 balls.

Luncheon is served -

End of Over 10 (4 runs). Pork Piers: 26-0, runrate=2.60
Trail by 484 runs. (BATTY SHRIMPERS 510-10)
Prasad 5-0-17-0
Mcdonagh* 16 (42 balls)
Constable 10 (18 balls)

Bore draw at a guess

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 13 (2 runs). DIBS DIPPERS: 35-0, runrate=2.69
Trail by 400 runs. (Rival Schools 435-10)
Butterfield 7-0-19-0
Potter* 28 (37 balls)
Owens 6 (41 balls)

Mrs BB could force a win if she can score quickly enough.

I wish my oppo would hurry up and declare!

End of Over 36 (8 runs). 1 1=6: 226-0, runrate=6.28 (1st Inn: 276-10)
Lead by 436 runs. (General Stars 66-10)
Hitchman 13-0-82-0
Crane* 96 (104 balls)
Kone 127 (113 balls)

The General said:

End of Over 36 (8 runs). 1 1=6: 226-0, runrate=6.28 (1st Inn: 276-10)
Lead by 436 runs. (General Stars 66-10)
Hitchman 13-0-82-0
Crane* 96 (104 balls)
Kone 127 (113 balls)
i'd be surprised if he did, I certainly wouldn't.

End of Over 27 (2 runs). The banbury cricket : 101-2, runrate=3.74
Trail by 284 runs. (Napster's XI 385-7)
Holroyd 5-0-18-2
Mullins* 41 (65 balls)
Gooden 2 (3 balls)

Last Wicket: Morne c. Jefferson b. Holroyd 4 (FOW: 99/2)

26.6 . Holroyd to Gooden
Fullish ball just outside off stump, no seam movement, shoulders arms to let it go straight through to Back.
26.5 . Holroyd to Gooden
That's why they were shining the ball, not too quick from Holroyd but it swung in after pitching and carved Gooden in two. Lucky not to nick anything on the way through to Back.
26.4 2 Holroyd to Gooden
Played into the gap between mid off and extra cover, easily run two.
26.3 W Holroyd to Morne
Morne pulls out the 1 wood and goes for the big drive. Unfortunately for him he hasn't made the ladies' tee and is caught at mid off by Jefferson. Out.
