FC - Week 4

End of Over 97 (10 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 419-3, runrate=4.32
Burnip 16-2-81-0
Raziuddin* 55 (85 balls)
Evelyn 228 (254 balls)

Quite pleased for Raz, because he's my longest serving player, and he's struggled a bit at this level.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 97 (4 runs). Rival Schools: 366-4, runrate=3.77
Bradley 14-3-54-0
Toradeniya* 11 (32 balls)
Muggins 133 (211 balls)

Last Wicket: Baker b. Eagles 83 (FOW: 342/4)

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 96 (7 runs). Southend: 507-9, runrate=5.28
Vincent 35-3-197-3
Deakin* 56 (89 balls)
Garcia 157 (168 balls)
Last Wicket: Jeffers lbw b. Brittain 12 (FOW: 371/9)

Dont remember setting a declaration target but oh well. Deakin, an abysmal batsman, getting 56 not out is incredible. Shame he's my best bloody bowler knackering himself out batting!

0.2 W Brennan to Dick
That was a gem of a delivery. Rising from good length, heading on to Dick's shoulders at great pace. The batsman was caught in an awkward position trying to evade the ball, but caught the top of the bat through to the keeper.

Their 145K BTR £46K a week superstar out second ball :)

Loving those bowling figures by The Key

End of Over 24 (4 runs). Come on you Wolves: 41-6, runrate=1.71
Trail by 412 runs. (N-Trance shire 453-1)
Keehan 12-7-14-1
Byerley* 3 (14 balls)
Hastings 2 (15 balls)

Last Wicket: Candlish Run Out 4 (FOW: 36/6)

Your gunna laugh here. I managed to bowl my oppo out for 276! Lol! Akram 4-65 and Tomlinson 4-49! One fella managed 169 alone. However im 42-9. Had i put out a semi decent batting line-up, i may have been competive. Instead i only batted down to 6 with Philip, Phillips, Stanton, Hitchman, Queque and Titterton and this should be over tomorrow!

Kev

very annoying 6th wicket partnership here... still, it bodes well for me batting tomorrow, flat pitch, sunny weather...

End of Over 102 (6 runs). Lee All Stars: 446-5, runrate=4.37
Stevenson 17-0-82-0
Sturgess* 43 (58 balls)
Rowland 71 (81 balls)
Last Wicket: Eagle b. Cairns 43 (FOW: 339/5)

34.3 6 Spiers to Hitchman
He hasn't even hit it hard but it's sailed over the ropes! Pure timing.
34.2 . Spiers to Hitchman
Spiers comes around the wicket and it’s a very good ball. Nicely played.
34.1 . Spiers to Hitchman
Terribly unlucky. A beautiful straight drive from Hitchman, but right into the stumps at the non-striker's end.

End of Over 34 (Maiden). General Stars: 42-9, runrate=1.24
Trail by 234 runs. (1 1=6 276-10)
Eagles 3-2-6-0
Hitchman* 0 (44 balls)
Thompson 0 (2 balls)

IT TOOK HITCHMAN 47 BALLS TO GET OFF 0, BUT HE DID IT IN STYLE!!

Good day for me.

Bowled them out for 126 and am currently 348-2, which is likely to be stumps.

Both Griffiths and Pembridge hit centuries at better than a run-a-ball. That was Pembridge's maiden century in any form of the game. His setting was defensive as well!

Going to check the weather forecast, but may have to revise my declaration target upwards in order to stretch this out for 3 days.

Oppo ended 41-2, will probably wait til day 3 to see what changes to make. This will go to 3 days.

Opps closed on 717 for 7 yay ! I didn't realise one of the donkeys I bought was a feeble. He ended up the day with 3 for 102 off 22 - I'll not bowl him second innings i'm guessing that as opps only log in once every 7or8 days they have no dec target and no follow on set. With the right orders tomorrow I could eke a draw out of this :D what's the best plan for bowlers ? i can line 9 up exc WK and the 3 wicket man - all very defensive ?

Ooooooooooh nooooooooo she's logged in - methinks an O/N declaration and a follow on has probably been set - they've done that before

previous log on 10/10 and before that 2/10 - bum - that's 0 points for me in this game then :hilarious:

Ended the day on 473-4, with Raz 84*. Today is forecast as partially Cloudy and Humid, so declaration target is set at 525, hopefully giving Raz enough time for his ton, and then we can get at them.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB's oppo are 387-5, but forecast Sunny weather should help her a bit when she comes to bat.

All remaining batsmen set to defensive and taken Mushy & Hot Rod out of the bowling attack in an effort to get another days gates out of the game. Going to be a slow days play!

Though with my batting on a cracked pitch that's fairly unlikely anyway!

Balls.
