170 for 3 with my star 18yo trainee 99 not out just joined but another strong scoring 18yo trainee followed by the 17yo YP pulled on Sunday and just realised he popped to prof on Monday. Toilet after that but targetting 300 which will be a first for me. Glad I reset lineup from donkey default now batting first on dusty home wicket but forgot to buy a second spinner and couldnt chance poor stamina trainee

lost both the openers, but that's not a disaster in terms of RR or fitness.

End of Over 51 (8 runs). Pettefershire CCC: 157-2, runrate=3.08
Crawford 8-0-31-0
Horsfield* 4 (3 balls)
Rieger 29 (42 balls)
Last Wicket: Scholes c. Eagle b. Tennant 45 (FOW: 149/2)

thought i'd share this bit of commentary, too:

53.6 4 Tennant to Rieger
Tennant's delivery is too short and Rieger dispatches it past square leg, one bounce, to the fence. If there's one thing Rieger can do, it's pull. Just ask the ladies in the local nightclub.

Didn't expect it to be this easy. May end up scoring more than in our previous three innings!

End of Over 54 (5 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 253-0, runrate=4.69
Taylor 12-1-58-0
Askew* 96 (146 balls)

End of Over 55 (4 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 203-1, runrate=3.69
Fredericks 19-6-54-1
Middleton* 8 (7 balls)
Evelyn 116 (191 balls)

Last Wicket: Schoeman lbw b. Fredericks 72 (FOW: 180/1)

Schoeman falls, but he's done his job and won't have done too much damage to his PFL either. Looking for 361 and then declare.

Higgs 8-1-32-0

Last Wicket: Schooney b. Tuckett 23 (FOW: 169/5)

Tuckers does his damage again. Need to get Mavuso out.

Bowled them out for 110  after winning a vital toss.

But it took me 66 overs to do so  which is bad for my bowlers, although the workload was shared around.

It is however ideal bowling conditions so I'm wary about my innings.

Best news for me is that Bulldogs are playing all their stars and it looks like they'll have a lengthy stint in the field.

My gate receipts are half of my one-day receipts, but this game could be over in two days.

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

Bugger. Lost a wicket last ball before tea. 7-1, Holt my trainee and one of my few defensive players out. Having set him very defensive, the plan was for him to wear out their opening bowlers, so my middle order could feast off the change bowling. Doesn't seem to have worked!

Well an eventful day so far with 12 wickets falling in the match so far. My oppo were doing okay at 194-3 but the Guy/Jackman combo worked a treat and skittled them for 219 all out. Jackman with 3-42 (20 overs) and Guy with 5-41 (19 overs) with Akram chipping in with 2 wickets. But a poor start has seen me slump to 12-2, losing Bayliss and Browne cheapily before tea!

Least there should be a result here!

End of Over 71 (5 runs). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 256-2, runrate=3.61
Drench 17-2-65-1
Raziuddin* 7 (10 balls)
Middleton 41 (56 balls)

Last Wicket: Evelyn c. Blezard b. Drench 126 (FOW: 237/2)

Back-to-Back FC tons for Evelyn, just need to sort his OD form out now. Looking at the scoring rate, should just about get to bowl at them tonight.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 72 (Maiden). Aylesbury: 212-3, runrate=2.94
Mohammed 23-8-49-3
Tselane* 75 (186 balls)
Gillespie 62 (106 balls)

Last Wicket: Obrien c. Stride b. Mohammed 29 (FOW: 125/3)

Mrs BB has slowed the scoring rate right down, but still struggling to break through.

End of Over 71 (Maiden). Twenty Esterling Rogues: 186-6, runrate=2.62
Tuckett 18-11-13-4
Mavuso* 103 (167 balls)
Mcallister 0 (2 balls)

Last Wicket: Field c. Van niekerk b. Tuckett 5 (FOW: 186/6)

Tuckers still toiling away

:)

300 up at tea. Slowing down though, would like them to get out and share the load a bit. Saj, Cooky & Cold Rod are all sitting about on sublime fitness (though they'll all be bowling so I guess it doesn't matter too much).

The players are off the field for tea.

End of Over 70 (6 runs). ShrimperZone CC: 305-0, runrate=4.36
Horton 16-2-68-0
Cunningham* 168 (228 balls)

Tuckers gets his five-fer

End of Over 73 (Maiden). Twenty Esterling Rogues: 186-7, runrate=2.55

Mavuso* 103 (173 balls)
Warlow 0 (4 balls)

Last Wicket: Mcallister b. Tuckett 0 (FOW: 186/7)

Askew listens to his manager! Cunningham won't play Friday or Sunday anyway so that works for me. Hopefully Cooky can up the pace again.

End of Over 73 (Maiden). ShrimperZone CC: 322-1, runrate=4.41
Malloy 10-1-36-1
Cunningham* 177 (232 balls)
Cook 0 (1 balls)

Last Wicket: Askew c. Rosenior b. Malloy 126 (FOW: 322/1)
