FC- Week 3

3-0 so far.

Welcome to Pettefershire CCG for the match between Pettefershire CCC and Eddsup.

We can tell you that Pettefershire CCC won the toss and elected to bat. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Also lost the toss and have been put in. Cunningham gets a bat in his hand for the first time this season!

End of Over 3 (Maiden). ShrimperZone CC: 10-0, runrate=3.33
Rayno 2-1-5-0
Askew* 3 (6 balls)
Cunningham 7 (12 balls)

We have a grand total of 8 bowling options, I'm going to be interested to see how Maymann handles those decisions!

i've always gone in to FC with 6 bowling 'options' thus far, even if one is total toss. in my first game, a woe/woe part-timer actually picked up 2 very useful wickets.

End of Over 5 (Maiden). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 11-0, runrate=2.20
Fredericks 3-3-0-0
Evelyn* 1 (9 balls)

Welcome to Twenty Esterling Rogues CG for the match between Twenty Esterling Rogues and Napster's XI.

We can tell you that Napster's XI won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking a cracker! Hard and fast - should be a run-fest out there on this partially cloudy and humid day.

Lets join our team for ball-by-ball commentary.

mediocre/proficient
competent/feeble
mediocre/feeble

Not expecting them to do much other than pad out the innings. I should win anyway so if they can save my bowlers some fitness then all the better.

Managed to get one of their £15k openers out

End of Over 15 (8 runs). Royal Bruisers: 67-1, runrate=4.47
Lenka 2-0-15-1
Nash* 25 (36 balls)

Hmm, best I could do would be Mediocre / Worthless and Feeble / Feeble, not sure I should let them loose in FC ;)

Got oppo 117-3. They have just brought in their £30,000 p/w batter/wickie in, so he is obviously the crucial wicket!
