FC Match 3 Battrick Week 4

The players are off the field for the change of innings.

End of Over 94 (Maiden). Napster's XI: 336-10, runrate=3.57
Lead by 8 runs. (Phil's Sloggers 328-10)
Overs left today: 24
Mangan 20-3-53-3
van Niekerk * 23 (55 balls)

Make that 24-9.

I think I've found out why - the owner appears to have gone bust and all his players are on worthless form and fresh fitness. Not sure when that happened, but it can only have been recently - he'd won one and lost one in the league.

End of Over 85 (Maiden). Dale : 241-10, runrate=2.84
Trail by 189 runs. (Southchurch Village CC 430-10)
Overs left today: 29
Shashidhar 18-3-36-7
Briers* 82 (152 balls)

Well the plan worked today. Career-best figures for Shash, first time on attacking orders. Dale to follow on, currently 25-1.

Lets just say it has gone incredibly pear shaped ! All about rain tomorrow and focussing on OD :p

Disappointing end to the day, having bowled them out for 154 they're now 131-1 in the second innings. Win is still on but need some prompt wickets tomorrow morning.

End of Over 65 (1 runs). Hamptonians: 252-5, runrate=3.88 (1st Inn: 120-10)
Lead by 41 runs. (General Stars 331-10)
Guy 15-4-29-2
Soares* 7 (38 balls)
Moloto 163 (171 balls)

Last Wicket: Keigher b. Guy 26 (FOW: 214/5)

Advantage General Stars but still all to play for. This Moloto fella is obviously pretty handy after getting him out cheaply first time round. If i do win this, then credit to Sookram and Johnson who put on a 9th wicket stand of 111 and meant iactually managed some decent batting points for once.

Oppo only logs in every few days so I may yet scrape a draw an I will still be 1 point ahead. All hinges on what his default second innings dec total is. Currently on 155 and whether I remember to set all to v defensive. Having said that he logged in today so I'll check to see whether he logs in again to reset orders.

Lead by 193, with 9 wickets left going into today. Looking to declare with a lead of 300, and try and bowl them out in about 80 overs.

bowled oppo out for 179 and enforced follow-on. 197-4 in their second innings, leaving us a handful of runs ahead. bowlers all on attacking today as we push for the win.

End of Over 29 (3 runs). Phil's Sloggers: 84-2, runrate=2.90 (1st Inn: 328-10)
Lead by 76 runs. (Napster's XI 336-10)
Overs left today: 105
van Niekerk 12-4-26-1
Smart* 2 (15 balls)
Friedrich 8 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Furlong b. van Niekerk 33 (FOW: 77/2)

Need to get Friedrich out and we might still snatch this,.

Bit of a collapse this morning, losing Pollock, Nagga and Evelyn for next to nothing. Still need another 80 for the declaration.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Baggys Slackers

BATTY SHRIMPERS have resumed their innings.

Pitch: Green

End of Over 55 (Maiden). BATTY SHRIMPERS: 170-4, runrate=3.09 (1st Inn: 292-10)
Lead by 221 runs. (Baggys Slackers 241-10)
Overs remaining today: 101
Haines 16-5-40-3
Schoeman* 8 (10 balls)
Ricketts 2 (27 balls)

Last Wicket: Evelyn c. Preedy b. Haines 0 (FOW: 161/4)

No progress this morning. I can't really complain, they have a decent batting line up and I think it was more us bowling very well in their first innings rather than crap in their second. Still plenty of time but need a breakthrough soon.

End of Over 54 (1 runs). White Lodge Wizards: 146-1, runrate=2.70 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Trail by 28 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 328-10)
Overs left today: 99
Schofield 18-3-41-0
Roscoe* 40 (100 balls)
Badhan 71 (164 balls)

Last Wicket: Hurst b. Marriott 17 (FOW: 66/1)

Skittled them out this morning meaning I have 101 overs to survive. Had I not set all to v defensive I may have had a chance of chasing 294 down.

Finally got one. They're about to pass our total so we can start watching the runs required/overs remaining ratio drift.....

End of Over 63 (1 runs). White Lodge Wizards: 167-2, runrate=2.65 (1st Inn: 154-10)
Trail by 7 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 328-10)
Overs left today: 90
Sutherland 16-2-50-1
Roscoe* 56 (134 balls)
Hoyte 1 (8 balls)

Last Wicket: Badhan c. Lamey b. Sutherland 74 (FOW: 161/2)

Looks like a draw

End of Over 50 (1 runs). Phil's Sloggers: 150-3, runrate=3.00 (1st Inn: 328-10)
Lead by 142 runs. (Napster's XI 336-10)
Overs left today: 84
Storer 7-0-24-0
Stringfellow* 4 (14 balls)
Friedrich 55 (88 balls)

Last Wicket: Smart st. Perry b. Allan 11 (FOW: 138/3)
