Sandy went cheaply and now Macca has too. Looks like we'll definitely get a bowl at them now but not because I reached 360 as originally hoped!! Though we do have Plums and Mario hidden down at 8 and 9.

Looks like their 2 opening spin bowlers have finally finished their 15 overs each! I think he was hoping i'd lose my top order cheap and then he'd go from there but my boys have chucked a spanner in the works!

Just not getting them out

very annoying near century partnership for Their sixth wicket and they're still scoring at no more than 2 an over

I hope Carter's Dad gave him some abuse.

Tate has worked out what his bat is for but it's still a bit of a crawl.

Good recovery from 170 odd for 6, shows the value of having 3 all-rounders in the team.

Mario comes in and gives us a bit of a kickstart after a very slow spell, could sneak a 4th batting point yet.

Overs left today: 8
Allan 14-7-23-2
Maymann* 7 (29 balls)

101.5 W Allan to Faulconbridge
He's gone LBW. That's a controversial decision, Faulconbridge thinks he got bat on the ball. Replays suggest that Faulconbridge is right; it looks like he got an inside edge first.

There entire attack is made up off spin bowling. All 6 of them. Unheard of!

End of Over 66 (Maiden). General Stars: 191-4, runrate=2.89
Lead by 71 runs. (Hamptonians 120-10)

Stanton 0 (0 balls)

Last Wicket: Cavanagh lbw b. Wiltshire 46 (FOW: 191/4)

Batted for all but four overs to post 430. Bob Birkett scored a neat 200 in only 219 balls. All days sunny on a green pitch so it's gonna be hard to take wickets so may set some attacking bowling orders.

Bugger - took all day to bowl them out for 226 then in the 4 overs that remained I lost a wicket. I have an awful feeling about tomorrow. Declaration set at 400 but I have a horrible feeling he's going to steam through me for a very slender lead. :(

good day for me. 381-4 declared, then got an opener before stumps.oppo will resume on 15-1.

Scraped up to 292, with Brucie left stranded on 99*. Had 11 overs at them, in which they knocked up 40 without loss. Going to be a tough to force a win I think, as the last 2 days are both Sunny.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB finished on 270-5, a lead of over 200. Declaration set at at 360, and then bowl them out for another 2 day win.

A brisk 38 from 47 balls from Mario saw us nab a 4th batting point and finish on 327-8. I can't see us getting the 5th point with only Big Phil and Suthers at the other end so have just set them to V Attacking to try and add a few more runs before we watch our bowlers toil in the sun.
