Favourite fish and chip shop?

The Perfect Plaice !!

and the chippy on Milton road was always good when messing around in Westcliff

near Oakwood Pub, it was all about chips and curry sauce from YU's, whilst being childish and saying "y u follow us" like the triads in "nuns on the run", or a venture down to Hong Kong House to meet the sweyne lot around there.

memories!!

great call carl, hong kong house

I miss saying fish and chips....

Up here they call it a fish supper. You always refer to what ever you want first then say supper, for example, Fish supper, Sausage supper, Pie supper so on and so on. There is never any mention of chips unless you just want a portion of chips.

Not sure in Glasgow Rich has the same experiences??

what happens when you want male chickens and chips?

My current favourite is Louis fish bar, Long Road, Canvey Island.

There is always a queue which is a good sign.

With you there MC, been there many a time.

I also used to be a big fan of the one in Leigh Highlands (The Perfect Plaice?). Battered sausage and chips from there any time I was working in the Coral shop down that way ten or so years ago.

Just had our Haddock Supper from Glover & Co in Fraserburgh

Chips were superb, fish was really nice although the batter was slightly over done for me
