FA Trophy Round 5 Southend United vs Sittingbourne.

Whilst they (Sittingbourne) are 2nd in the league and lost just one game - they play in the 8th tier of football against other tier 8 teams - all part time. I watch alot of tier 8 and 9 football and whilst its not that bad they would be huge outsiders to come to Roots Hall and win that against a team three divisions above. The fact people think this is a bananaskin shows how far we really have fallen.

The mighty East Grinstead, Deal, Merstham, Erith, Phoenix Sports, Broadbridge Heath, Steyning and Three Bridges.

That would completely play into our hands...
It would. But you'd suspect they'd park the team bus and hope for something on the counter/set piece. Similar to Southport. Let's hope we have improved on breaking down a low block by then.

They are absolutely running away with it (Along with Ramsgate) in the Isthmian South East. Won't be an easy game at all!!
Ramsgate are a decent side and have been knocking for years but its a huge step up. Look at how many NLS or NLN teams come up from Tier 6 and fail to make their mark... Now drop 2 leagues further. I am sure they are no mugs but as long as we don't go all cocky then guaranteed 1-0 win ;)

I don't think they get much practice at doing that.. F71 A16
