FA Cup 4th Qualifying Round Draw - Eastleigh (a) 12th Oct.

Eastleigh are also unbeaten at home this season (P6 W4 D2) so we certainly will have to do it the hard way.

How pathetic we can't face being drawn against Eastleigh with optimism. I do hope we take the cups seriously. We can do it if we can find a bit of form and confidence.
Totally agree. For how many years in the past this would of been an easy draw (not that we'd of even been entering at this stage). I feel like we've become a failure acceptance Club.

Let's be honest would we be feeling more confident if we had drawn a smaller potential 'banana skin' club - probably not.

Last 4 seasons:-

21/22 Chesterfield away
22/23 Woking away
23/24 Yeovil away
24/25 Eastleigh away

Is this payback for getting Chertsey Town at home in our first ever FA Cup tie as a non-league side?

Off to see this after work on the 12th, got to be an improvement from losing at Yeovil last year with 16yr olds coming off the bench, man that was a painful loss luckily i was holidaying in Devon.
We're on our way back !

A pretty big part of the lack optimism is that we are notoriously crap in the cups. We were losing to non league sides at the first available opportunity before we even got down here!!

Definitely not the draw the club and the fans wanted.Ideally playing a weaker side would have been better but unfortunately the gods aren't looking at us favorable. Not sure if we have replays at this stage anyway we have beaten once so why not again

I think there are still replays at this stage in the competition
