Email to Stewarts Law - Insolvency Team - Petition adjourned until 15th May.

Statement says they've agreed to 4 week adjournment to 15 May.

Does this mean the court appearance in April will go ahead, but with a pre agreed outcome? Or nothing happening in April now.

I think it will go ahead with a pre-agreed outcome.

So they're willing to wait for the deal to be done. Does that suggest that all of this was just a ploy to make sure they're at the front of the queue after the takeover? They're the experts in this after all, they know what they're doing.

Good work people. The emails from fans and the Trust, plus the social media interactions certainly won't of done any harm in helping to get the petition adjourned. Stewarts have seen sense and to be fair to them, that should be acknowledged. They are (like many) owed a significant amount of money at the end of the day.

Just listening to this on Radio essex niq. At 1.00pm
Good it has made news, even if it is radio Essex, and not talk sport etc...
Excerlent.

Yes, in line with what Smiffy says, well done to everyone who took the time to protest, write emails, send letters, put messages on social media etc.

I can't believe that Stewarts stood down simply because of a Ron promise, i think they know the score re those. The reasoning (or 'fuss', call it what you will) by all of us that care and are prepared to act will have had an impact.
