He hasn't scored in any of his others

Britt has scored 1 in 15.

Eastwood may not be the answer (and the answer may not even lie with the strikers) but we cant go on like we are, we have only won 2 in 10 and we need to start winning. Carry on like this and all hopes of promotion will be gone in 2 weeks..

This I agree with. Corr seems to be the one with the goal scoring boots on at the mo

Corr Eastwood partnership > anyone/everyone ATM

True but I think the problems go deeper than who is up front. Defence looks weak without Phillips, midfield is badly missing Timlin and Laird. Biggest miss is Tomlin though for me, sets the tone for the team with his energy. Weve looked very pedestrian without him. Even at his peak with us Freddy was surrounded by good players like Gower, the Goat, Maher, Guttridge.

If you go back to November that was when we had the last should Eastwood play mass debate.

Our form improved when the midfield was sorted, not because we changed strikers. Im hoping with the 'Return of the Tam' our performances will improve and whoever is upfront will benefit.

Freddy Eastwood

Freddy played mid field for Coventry wonder why he has not played in that position for the Blues?

coz he was not good enough as a striker in the championship, not good enough now at moment but needs a run of games but wont get them here.

Forget all this sentimental rubbish about Freddy Eastwood. Yes, he was prolific in his first spell but post Man Utd he was being carried and frankly was not helpful in his attitude or performances. He's come back older and heavier having been in the wilderness at Coventry. Anytime he has payed for Southend with the exception of maybe two or three of his early performances he's been disappointing. Lets put this to bed once and for all, he is not up for it. There are other players ahead of him that are fitter, more eager and frankly more useful. Stop bleating over this same boring old subject. Rarely do second time around players perform like they previously did.

Talking of Freddy Eastwood I saw him getting of the Southend Train the other night at Liverpool Street around 6 ish was going to sing da da da Freddy Eastwood but he moved on to fast

Sadly he put on loads of Timber, still believe he can do the business for us tho
