Blimey, didn't we give Corr long enough and hasn't him come back and repaid the faith we showed? Didn't we give Mark Phillips ample time to get over injury in his first season and didn't he come back and give us a player of the year performance to repay the faith? I'm absolutely positive Freddy would rather be playing than taking so long to get over an operation last summer, come on guys, get off his back.

Agree up to a point, but the difference (especially in our financial situation) is in the respective wage packets and the perception (rightly or wrongly) of their relative overall fitness.

Eastwood has already said he is fit to play. I understand when he played the other day he went off with an ice pack strapped to his leg, so that doesnt ring true. So what is bottem line here, is he long term injured, because of this he cant train,is he just a lazy sod, and cant be bothered,what is the problem here.

There is a post from months back with Eastwood saying he was fit to play, he was then picked for a home match , can't remember against who, and it was plain to everyone watching that he was not fit .

Indeed, he said he was fit on loan then had to have an op in the close season.

It's not a great situation, is it. None of us know the facts about Freddy but the evidence backs up, unfortunately. You only have to speak to the supporters of his last two clubs to get what now looks like an accurate picture. I would love him to regain some form but I simply don't believe it's gonna happen. I trust Luggy, but this one was a bad signing and there's no easy way out.

I don't get the comparison with Corr at all, as he clearly wanted to play and went to hell and back to make it happen. If I thought that Freddy had that desire I'd say stick with him but, well, I see no sign of it.

Just spotted Freddy down Virgin in Thundersley. Finally putting in the extra effort?

One thing I will say is that he seems to have lost that "puppy" fat he had earlier in the season.

Sorry, I really dont get this Freddy thing. Personally thought he underperformed during the latter stage of his first career with us. Watched from afar when he underperformed at Wolves and Coventry and was underwhelmed by his arrival back here last season. As I have said before, loved him when he was here 1st time round when he seemed like he wanted to play football. Since then ?, erm no thanks. Would prefer a player of less ability with more heart and desire !
