Does this only appeal to ladies' sense of humour?

i don't think telling a joke at the expense of a man or woman automatically makes you sexist?!

What's wrong with sexy jokes? Everyone likes a sexy joke.... ;)

I don't think it warranted the personal nature of the attack I received.
I agree. It was quite amusing especially compared to some of the rubbish jokes that get put on here or the 5 year old Michael Jackson ones.

nope you just need your ******** sense of humour, something you have proven time and time again

that is possibly the worst joke i've ever heard (and i don't know anyone, male or female who would find it funny)

So you didn't find it funny? Wow. Why put the boot in like that?

Some harsh comments on this thread......a particular one i found extremly out of order and imo out of character.

No need for the personal attacks.

You have obviously missed his constant attacks on OBL then. Isn't the first time I have read a pathetic childish response to something Kay has put.

It was a rubbish joke. I don't think it's a gender thing, it just took about 6 months to get to a pretty tame punchline. sort of the joke equivalent of an twee animated e-card, of the type you might get on your birthday from a relative you rarely see.

Maybe that's why it appealed to me and to the people I've shown it to then, our sense of humour is maybe a little gentler and less aggressively "in your face". I just find it very sad that a simple question provoked such a needless response, especially when we seem to have had endless threads of "blokey" jokes.

I imagine that's it; the same dividing line was very clear in a lot of the sitcom polls.

I hate all the sexism on here, it's terrible. I am a little bitter towards women at the moment because my good lady just left me. She found out I was cheating on her, but I thought I had won a reprieve when I told her that everytime I was in bed with my bit on the side, I was thinking of her. I shouldn't have added that I only do that to stop me cumming too soon.

If you must, though this really wasn't supposed to be a random joke thread!

Q: How many women with PMS does it take to change a light bulb?

A: One. Only ONE!! And do you know WHY it only takes ONE? Because no one
else in this house knows HOW to change a light bulb. They don't even
know the bulb is BURNED OUT. They would sit in this house in the
dark for THREE DAYS before they figured it OUT. And once they figured it
out they wouldn't be able to find the light bulbs despite the fact
that they've been in the SAME CUPBOARD for the past SEVENTEEN YEARS. But
if they did, by some miracle, actually find the light bulbs, TWO DAYS
LATER the chair that they dragged from two rooms over to stand on
to change the STUPID light bulb would STILL BE IN THE SAME SPOT!! AND
UNDERNEATH IT WOULD BE THE CRUMPLED WRAPPER THE STUPID @*!#$% LIGHT
BULBS CAME IN! WHY?! BECAUSE NO ONE IN THIS HOUSE EVER CARRIES OUT
THE GARBAGE!! IT'S A WONDER WE HAVEN'T ALL SUFFOCATED FROM THE PILES
OF GARBAGE THAT ARE 12 FEET DEEP THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE. THE
HOUSE!! IT WOULD TAKE AN ARMY TO CLEAN THIS... I'm sorry...what did
you ask me?

Very good Dave, me to a T! In fact, we have two sets of lights in the lounge one of which I simply can't change, due to the nature of the fittings, and out of the 6 bulbs, only two work - needless to say, we don't use that set of lights!

Seeing as this is the "have a pop at Kay" thread ;)

Push and Twist or Screw-In mate ... which is the one you struggle with :whistling: :p

Both - if it's a light fitting that's so rubbish that it moves around as you try and screw in or push and twist!
