I recall him in 'The Singing Detective' from many years ago.Sir Michael Gambon dies at 82. Yet another Dumbledore will be needed if Harry Potter makes a comeback.
Sir Michael owned Airedale terriers and was well known for his love of his dogs. Friends of mine met him while walking their Airedales and stated he was a very pleasant and unassuming man.I recall him in 'The Singing Detective' from many years ago.

Norman Hunter reckons Franny had a nice right hook as well . RIPI remember him being on Football Focus after he retired. It showed him at his toilet roll factory, that made him a millionaire. He was known for blasting the ball as hard as he could at the goal. He said it worked for him because he was short but stocky, and could generate tremendous power in his shots, and if it was wide of the keeper, the keeper had less chance of saving it, and if it was nearer the keeper, the pace would sometimes beat him. That gave him a brilliant scoring record.
Franny was involved in some spectacular MOTD action when playing for Derby in the early/mid-70s.Norman Hunter reckons Franny had a nice right hook as well . RIP
