Deadpool 2024

Actor Jake Abraham has sadly passed of Prostate Cancer. Poignant that I read that immediately after seeing Kev Maher tweeting that he and SUFC staff are again doing their October Prostate Challenge.

I remember him being on Football Focus after he retired. It showed him at his toilet roll factory, that made him a millionaire. He was known for blasting the ball as hard as he could at the goal. He said it worked for him because he was short but stocky, and could generate tremendous power in his shots, and if it was wide of the keeper, the keeper had less chance of saving it, and if it was nearer the keeper, the pace would sometimes beat him. That gave him a brilliant scoring record.
