Transfer News and Gossip Danny Waldron Signs

Transfer news
Quotes from the Rushall manager here:

We can confirm that an agreement has been reached with Southend United for the transfer of Danny Waldron.
We thank Danny for his fantastic efforts over his two spells with the club and wish him well for the future.
“This is a great move for Danny,” said manager, Liam McDonald. “He has worked extremely hard this season and has improved so much as a footballer. His finishing has been deadly and has scored a crazy amount of goals for a club in our position.
“It’s massive credit to him and his team-mates for getting him this opportunity. He is a very talented footballer, one of the best that I have managed.
“Alvechurch have also played their part in his development with his season under Ian Long standing him in good stead.
“He’s a likeable lad who we care about immensely. Yes, we are sad to see him go, but we are excited for him on the next part of his journey. Southend have a top striker on their hands.
“He’s going to be missed; he will be hard to replace, but we will do it. We’ll take our time and bring in the right player to help us on the journey that we are on.
“It is a time for us to stick together and move on to the next challenge, which comes at Farsley Celtic on Saturday.”

Literally gone from fans in the stands with mop and bucket to help get the first league game of the season going, to cherry picking the best players from whats below us in what is barely 6 months later.
It feels amazing, thankyou Justin and the merry band of brothers, we really are walking in a Maher winterland.
Welcome Danny, go do great things
