cricket world cup 2015

New Zealand beat Australia one month too early.

Yep. If anything, I feel an Aussie win is more likely after today's narrow loss.

Backed the overs on the total sixes in that match - I wasn't bet pleased to wake up to see such a low scoring affair.

Bookmakers finally cottoned on to Eden Park's tiny straight boundaries this match and moved the line accordingly. You used to be able to back over 9.5 lines there, I fear those days are over!

I backed Australia most sixes. No way should they have been outsiders on that, but it lost. Disappointed to lose when a 150 score had 4 sixes, but I knew the risk was McCullum and it so proved.

Finish fourth, possibly get India in the quarter-finals. They are about the only major nation we've looked competitive against over the last year. It's all part of a brilliant ECB masterplan to get us in to the semis.

Where we will get utterly thrashed by the Lankans or Saffers.

If we finish 4th, with NZ coming top it seems most likely a semi final v the Aussies. Joy :'(
