China is a big country, bigger than the US and 39 times bigger than the UK

We are told the virus started in a market, which by sheer coincidence is about 10 miles from the Wuhan Institute of Virology......Guess what they have been doing ground breaking research on.....Bat corona virus and how it could effect human cells.

The Chinese have had leaks with the SARS virus, on more than one occasion. Could they be covering up or could some other country have released something in the right area?

Im not a medical expert at all - but have seen some studies that the following may help with minimising symptoms - Vitamin D, zinc lozenges, and guafesinin.

also see the below:

– Most coronavirus infections will be generally mild and probably treated at home. Make sure your home has oral rehydration solutions like Gatorade available to deal with dehydration from vomiting, diarrhoea, or other causes, and paracetamol available to help with fever.
– If you think you’ll fret a lot about whether you need to go the hospital, get a pulse oximeter (from Amazon). Readings consistently below 90-94% are pretty bad and mean you should seek immediate treatment.
– Everything that makes you feel better and healthier in general helps your immune system too, so get good sleep, eat healthy, and take Vitamin D if you’re deficient.
– The best way to avoid infection is still to wash your hands frequently and avoid touching your face. Less good but cooler ways to avoid infection include putting copper tape over everything in your house (copper kills viruses on touch).

Watched a video on the new 5G that was getting tested in Wuhan and on cruise ships , obviously conspiracy at its finest but it had me gripped for the full 30 minute video

Macron has just ordered lockdown across France with punishments for those who disobey. All non-essential movement to be banned from Tuesday midday for 15 days; residents must stay at home.

He has also said that no business, large or small, will be allowed to fail.

You might not like the tone of it, but at least it avoids Johnson's obfuscation. And if France can promise to protect every business why can't the UK.....?

A Personal and Business Prospective on telling people not to go too pub's etc.
But not telling them to close.
I work for local brewery and we have racked all the beers for a Beer Festival to start on Wednesday through to the weekend. Do we have to cancel, will Boris pick up the bill ??
All the staff will probably not be paid, as there are also hundreds of firkins of beer been ordered by pubs and waiting to be delivered/sold. No one can take them, as we are told not to go into pubs. Many beers have been got in for Beer Festival's from brewers around the U.K..
So tens of thousands of pints are going to have to be thrown down the drain.
By the time we are probably told pubs are safe to go back into, this thousand's of pounds worth of beer will be past its sell by date. Who picks up that bill,
My job is too sell beer to pubs by going round them, how can I do that if they are closed, so I will probably be out of work until Boris says ok to go back in them.
Our Micro Bar is not a Pub but a Micro Bar, with a massive bottle shop in it, can we open the Micro, or just the bottle shop and also serve polypins to take away.
Boris annoys the f**** out of me by refusing too give a answer and not giving instructions to businesses that will probably cost them thousand's and go out of business.

I imagine with the diversity of businesses there are too many possibilities. What about pub bands? Will I get £75 every Saturday night from the Government? What about a plum
ber, taxi driver, gardener etc?

By saying to people not to go to pubs but leaving it as the pub owners choice to shut or not means it is then not covered by insurance if they choose to shut.

The flaw in this is that it is a french president talking BIG, think about it, HE IS FRENCH, he is a Politico, AND you believe him?
Really?

Trouble is how can Macron enforce that? Police and army on every street? In reality it’s just a scare tactic with no chance of actual success on a country wide scale. Doubt farmers in French villages will give two sh*ts. Johnson appealing to our better natures is at least a step in the right direction, Leigh Broadway was unusually quiet this eve. Of course, the government has legal powers to enforce things if necessary....but where would that leave an already stretched to the limit police force? Can’t see it working, personally.

I really hope my plumber loses some work...He might find the time finish his job round mine.

I made the mistake of being helpful and allowing him to fit it in when he he can.

He could always ask the Germans to enforce it.....They managed it with ease for 4 years from 1940 to 1944

Frankly, after seeing the pictures and videos of what the Chinese get upto with their “eating habits”, I believe they should be ****ing ashamed of themselves.

An absolutely disgraceful, barbaric, Stone Age way to behave.

Will they amend their ways? No chance. Should they face scrutiny & condemnation from the rest of the World? Absolutely.
Nuke them

Yeah, but that may be because it was a tourist area. You can’t enforce that country-wide and fight crime, no resources! It’s a deterrent though .. for sure.

Correct

this isn’t all in the news but it is factually accurate
Many/all Hospitals are cancelling elective operations ( if it isn’t necessary to keep you alive expect it to be cancelled)
1st- 4th year medical students are not being trained in hospitals as staff are too busy to supervise. Exams are not taking place, students will pass the year
Liverpool uni 5th year students have been told they can not be trained in hospital ( medical students spend most of their 5th year in hospitals training). They are being pressurised to “volunteer “ to work in the local hospitals.
It’s unclear how they will finish their studies, pay to be worked out.
at least one trust is promoting some F1 doctors ( 1st year out of uni) to F2. This shouldn’t happen until August, and obviously they will not have done their exams.
F2 can administer certain drugs, issue death certificates and make “ do not resuscitate “ decisions.
These are very practical decisions, and they tell you that the NHS is gearing up for thins to get much much worse.

doctors in Italy have had to bake life and death decisions in “ who gets a ventilator “ based on “ who is most likely to live”, effectively battlefield triage, hence ventilators being the topic of the moment.

The Chinese have been eating bats for many centaury`s and not had any outbreaks like cv. The Chinese government have had an population problem for many years and now they have an ageing population people living longer. They cannot sustain the ever increasing population. Easy solution introduce a virus to mainly kill off the sick and ageing population.
Also China has a Swine flu epidemic so there is a lack of food especially in the rural area`s, what a coincidence ! If the Flu don't get them starvation is a good back up !

Crime might go down
People working from home= less opportunities for burglars. Less people about to rob ,

Having g said that , I await the first story of some scum bag gaining entry to an old person’s house and robbing them whilst preten to be checking that they are ok “ and do you need something from the shops

I've just had to tell over 400 local kids they cant play football for their club. Probably for a long time. That hurt.

Sounds like one of my Spanish holidays.

Just wait until they catch him urinating round the back of a church at 4am.

A Universal Basic Income for the duration of the lockdown would be a way around this. If there is a large influx of people that are looking to claim unemployment benefits, and them being asked not to go to Job Centres to sign on, UBI covers these conflicting needs.
