The interest is from the South of Essex though...do not start thinking you are a popular or well supported club. Forever in our shadow. Scum.

There is interest here too but much more hysteria is building up down there at present it is true, I don't think you could say we have been in your shadow recently, but as I am in your forum you can call me scum if you wish!

Btw , what is the ground capacity ?
Although I guess there will be some lost to segregation ?
Ground capacity is just over 10k, I think the biggest crowd we have had there is just under 10100, but there will be a little lost to segregation as you say, because some of your tickets are in the East stand where some of our fans will be too.

What's the fun in that? They've spend years mocking the L2 status...let's not start acting friendly. Bring your smoke bombs and flares...

Funnily enough now we're safely back in League One I wouldn't swap our last five years for theirs. We won a lot more than we lost and were challenging for promotion every season, had three play-off campaigns and the most dramatic promotion possible, whereas they were just happy with 15th most of the time.

Strange how things work out. I don't want to be heading back to the basement any time soon though...

Got to the ticket office just after 10.15 and had to wait nearly a hour before they sold any Col U tickets, they had to sort the postal/online tickets first. One till open to sell other match tickets but nobody in the ticket office could manage to write a sign pointing people in the right direction. Then just before sales they announce that it is two tickets per person (after people had been previously told they can have as many as they want), so that went down well. Great way of looking after fans who make a effort to get there in person - some things never change at SUFC - utter shambles !!

Atleast they won't have the same issue when coming to roots hall. It will packed out to the rafters and col u won't sell there usual allocation as per usual.

We should give them half of the North Bank and thats that. This will defo sell out for home fans. Im just grateful that my season ticket has meant that i see both, my sons first taste of a derby as well

I predicted that the remainder of tickets would've been sold by the end of the 1st day of general sale even before the additional tickets went on sale, butat this rate, I'd be very surprised if they lasted longer than a couple of hours, as they're in massive demand. Hopefully the club can try and liaise with Col Ewe and increase our allocation to hopefully help deal with the current high demand for away tickets - last thing I'm sure both clubs want is away fans being in the home end.

would love to have been at the Colchester game ...but I will be on Holiday in Florida enjoying the sun and Disney world with the family............and yes this is being said through gritted teeth and total anger at missing this game, but there will always be next season for the away game

Only got single tickets left, about 6 now. My boy will be in the same row as me, i'll have to keep a close eye on him as he's 11 and we are about 12 seats away from each other, maybe i'll get lucky and someone will swap. All i know is, he'll be uncontrollably excited when i tell him in half an hour when he gets in from school. Get in there, Sean and Ronnie are off to the scummers at Xmas haha

Our club really are pathetic sometimes... My partner spent a hour on the phone (off a mobile so 9p a minute!) to be cut off before being able to leave her name and number like the message asked her to.. She was cut off roughly a hour and a half before the announcement that they had sold out. What a poor excuse of customer service that was! Ofcourse trying to get through after that was impossible! The money I've spent this season including hosp packages and mascot packages and that's what you get for it.

About 2,300 officially sold then.

Several hundred more dotted around the home end one expects.

Shame we can't get another batch, we would sell them for sure.
