Indeed, had a great time up at Sheffield on Saturday, mixed with the locals, talked about the game, their season our season etc never a hint of trouble. They were impressed, not only with the numbers that traveled but also the overall behaviour of our fans.

I have been there 3 times including a great 3-3 draw back in the eighties in the cup, we lost the replay though 0-2, Brian Deane got both of them.

I was on for an hour and then the answerphone machine kicked in. Left my name and number and also emailed them.

Did get the "your position in the queue is first" about 45mins in. But only once.
Crazy that they've taken that out. On the phone now but no idea where I'm in the queue.

Anyone had any rough update on how long it took them to get through?

So that's another report that states the original allocation was 1,700 I thought the North Stand was slightly larger than your other end and the capacity was nearer 1,900 ?

Also £20 on the day tickets for your cup tie v Altrincham!!!!!!!!

.

I know crazy pricing, they are only opening two stands initially I doubt there will many more than 2000 there!

1700 does seem low for that stand, I thought capacity was 1900 plus too perhaps they are leaving a couple of rows empty for stewards etc

Just bought 3 tickets at £17/head, so if as the OS states they're selling the East 1 block first (£17/head) then they must still be on that with East 2 still to be sold.

Took 50 minutes on hold to get through for anyone interested.

I went to get mine at 11.30 today and have been allocated N3 which appears to be the middle section of the North Stand :omg:

Do we know if tickets are available for general sale tomorrow?

I can't see a latest official update, apart from the earlier announcement that tickets will go on General Sale tomorrow at 9.30am. http://www.southendunited.co.uk/new...s-colchester-united-away-tickets-2805549.aspx

It would be good to know how many tickets are left? How many people can buy? Can people buy online/phone?

Still selling East Block 1 to season ticket holders online so them plus the whole of East Block 2 to sell must be quite a few tickets left.

I would have thought so as general ticket sales was stated as beginning tomorrow morning on the OS,(and as others have said), I would'nt have thought we would have sold the whole 556 by closing today (it being a work day and all)

However, bearing in mind, whatever number of tickets are remaining going on public sale over the next 2 days, I would imagine that any tickets would be easily all gone after the final at Blackpool on Saturday.

So Without stating the obvious, it's a case of "early bird, gets the worm"! best advice is set the alarm clock and get in the line early.

On another note from C&P's link to their local rag (and on my own previous post).. Do you think there will be a 3rd further small allocation of tickets? or do you think that is it?
After all, Im sure their Chairman wants ticket sales regardless who sits in them & money in the bank, so if the demand is there, im left wondering if there will be a 3rd small allocation.

Here is what the local paper has to say with regard to your allocation.

Ok, ive been trying to keep this "on the low" all day, as it's not funny to tarnish all Colchester people with the same brush.... However, those that do, I can only imagine that this will only strengthen your case!!

There is a link on the right hand side, entitled most popular (just like the echo).... for those that cant be bothered to look.. here's the link...

Now you tell me otherwise, but that young teenager (surrounded by 2 older bearded men) looks as proud as punch to recieve the "Golden C*ck" (sorry Sausage) award from his mentors!!

Really, you could'nt make this up!! :hilarious::hilarious:

Ha ha good spot.
Some of the stories on there, I mean would you really call the Police if you saw someone on a Charity Walk dressed as Commander Gree from Star Wars just because he had a gun which was obviously fake!

As for the Colchester tickets it would have been nice for a further update tonight especially if general sale tickets are available online, it might save some people having to make a long unnecessary journey.

Tweet from the club saying they'll make an announcement first thing in the morning. Suggests that they haven't sold out yet...

It would be nice to know whether you have to stand in a queue at RH, or whether you can buy online ? It's not fair on our beloved friend enfieldblue and others if they travel all the way down to find out they have been beaten in the rush to somebody who is quick at pressing their refresh button on their puter

Spent all day and lots of Vodafone minutes on and off the phone in the queue, then just at that vital moment having to hang up due to work
Finally managed to go the distance and got 2 at 5.15 tonight:clap:
