It's going to be interesting on here, if we lose at Plymouth.:scared:

Another tricky place to go and haven't won there in previous 7 attempts. They are looking good this season too with Reid up front. 34 games there and only 4 victories. I would take a draw now if I'm honest, but if it isn't a 4-4 draw then it is going to be very repetitive!

Well deserved point. Solid performance in the main but no cutting edge once again. BBBC offerred little in the system we played. Weston could have done better from the good positions he put himself in and Bolger nearly cost us a couple of times with some sloppiness. Would like to see Mads and Payne start for Bolger and Coulthirst. They might offer something a bit different. Maybe go 4-4-1-1 away next with Weston playing more central behind BBBC.

I certainly feel that Coulthirst offers us something good - but only for part of the game i.e. he isn't in the game enough.

And would therefore consider starting with another player instead who could, over the whole 90 minutes (or up to the point of being substituted) provide a greater contribution.

i wouldn't mind a proper left winger then going 442 rather than 424 after how open we were on Saturday. Maybe Worrell on the right and Hurst on the left, or Atkinson out wide if we want more solidity

I think we will learn more about the team when we have the jpt game soon. The likes of mads Barney Brown layne payne Atkinson and Thompson should all start if only to stake a claim for a first team spot.

Unfortunately we will be treated to PB telling us that certain players have played themselves into first team reckoning, only for the next game squad to be the usual suspects.

Like against Walsall when he made several changes?

At the start of the season you need a settled squad and not keep swapping the line up every game because we aren't smashing teams by 2 or 3 goals.

Match ratings:

Bentley - couple of stops, wasn't really tested. 6/10
White - usual performance, got forward OK, couple of decent crosses. Got caught out a few times 6/10
Coker - enthusiastic, loads of space and time on occasion, some good passes 7/10
Prosser - average 6/10
Bolger - slightly better than Prosser 6/10
Hurst - didn't seem to do much to be honest. 5/10
Clifford - Butleresque. Tigerish and a great shot. Broke up their play and looked on a mission 8/10
Leonard - a good performance but overshadowed by Clifford 7/10
Coulthirst - unlucky but gave 100%. clearly has the desire and skill, but not yet clicked 6/10
Corr - battled hard won a few headers, unlucky with a shot near the end but overall a bit lacklustre 6/10
Weston - didn't look at the races 6/10

Subs:

Atkinson - ran around a bit, didn't do too much bad or good 6/10
Worrall - looked dangerous, had a bit of pace, couple of crosses, but never really incisive 7/10
Barnard - see Atkinson but without any danger at all 5/10

The defence looks solid enough and all work well together. Carlisle never really looked like scoring. The trouble is,neither did we. The central midfield is effective without being ultra creative, but the wingers/wing-backs don't look like putting in decent crosses. Corr is isolated at times just to battle against the defence, while Weston and Coulthirst seem a bit lightweight if up against it. But the subs are no better.

Personally, I'd swap Worrall for Coulthirst next game, with the view of bringing him on as an impact sub. I'd move Weston to the wing, and bring in Layne up front alongside Corr.

That makes 12 on the pitch doesn't it? (My maths may well be wrong).

Who are you going to drop?
