Good away draw

I agree that's it's a decent point, but also that with the start Carlisle have made to the season we really should be looking to beat them. PB made some interesting points re time for the players on the bench to step up etc. My main concern is and I've been saying since the end of last season that we need a goal scorer, 4 games in plus league cup and no goals from strikers in open play, I don't include Weston as a striker in that.

Why? He played up front in that game and has stated he prefers to play up front. Barry Corr is not going to score loads because he is playing a more supporting role in helping others get goals. Barnard hasn't started any and it is difficult to come on and make an impact in the short amount of time he gets.

Anyone who is labelled a "goal scorer" at this level will cost us or likely be snapped up by a higher division team. I'm curious as to what classes a player as a "goal scorer", it is getting 15+ goals a season or a rate of 1 goal every 2 games in recent seasons?

2 wins 1 draw and a defeat (an unlucky one at that) is the sort of form that would see us promoted - I think 7 points from 4 games throughout the season would accrue 80 points come the end of the season. We have a better squad than last season and will surely not repeat that disastrous run of 13/14 winless games this term.
