BT20 Leagues

Won comfortbaly at home for my 3rd win for 4 matches. Have a couple of tougher games this week.

Beyond Heresy
Top Order: superb
Middle Order: competent
Lower Order: abysmal
Seam Bowling: respectable
Spin Bowling: respectable
Fielding: feeble

Best ever all round stats for me also, including first superb rating

Won my first match of the campaign yesterday with opps out for 22. Should win today but no chance tomorrow so donkey line up selected. I should do just enough to stay up though if it comes to NRR I am shafted. The entire team is sublime and going into next weeks effective FC title decider that's great. I note me FC opps have finally rested their fresh and livelys. Bugger !

Home to a BOT today, should be another easy win for my II's

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Pudsey St Lawrence CC

BATTY SHRIMPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 12: 58-5, runrate=4.83
Subhani 3-0-26-1
Wessels* 0 (0 balls)
Francois 14 (17 balls)

Last Wicket: Ferry Hit Wicket b. Burns 2 (FOW: 54/5)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Top of the table clash for Mrs BB today, both sides 4-0 before today's game. Could go either way at the moment.

DIBS DIPPERS v Super Smashed CC

DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 12: 104-4, runrate=8.67
York 3-0-24-0
Shackell* 16 (12 balls)
Hough 33 (32 balls)

Last Wicket: Milner lbw b. Sipho 27 (FOW: 72/4)

We can tell you that Southend United won the toss and elected to field. The pitch is looking slow and low. Tough for everyone. Could be a low scoring match on this partially cloudy day.

End of Over 20: 245-0, runrate=12.25
Stubbs 4-0-43-0
William* 131 (67 balls)
Curtis 111 (55 balls)

End of Over 4: 22-2, runrate=5.50, reqrunrate=11.00 (197-2)
Rennie 2-0-12-1
Koos* 10 (10 balls)
Ainsworth 6 (7 balls)
Last Wicket: Crowe lbw b. Rennie 6 (FOW: 8/2)

Easy.

5 out of 5 coming up for my II's.

BATTY SHRIMPERS v Pudsey St Lawrence CC

End of Over 8: 83-1, runrate=10.38, reqrunrate=1.25 (97-8)
Nieuwenhuis 1-0-12-0
Goodman* 35 (22 balls)
Garvey 47 (25 balls)

Last Wicket: Sattar b. Petrie 0 (FOW: 0/1)

Mrs BB's game going to the wire I think.

DIBS DIPPERS v Super Smashed CC

DIBS DIPPERS won the toss and elected to field.
Pitch: Green

End of Over 8: 63-0, runrate=7.88, reqrunrate=9.33 (174-6)
Lisbie 1-0-13-0
Stride* 32 (23 balls)
Potter 30 (25 balls)

Made heavy weather of chasing down 49, losing 3 wickets. Particularly disappointing that Sandy on sublime fitness only made 7 against a feeble bowling attack.

Nonetheless, 5 out of 5 and most importantly, fitness rolling back to sublime ready for 1st v 2nd on Friday.

Lost by 16 runs. What an over by Prag at the end though.

And that's the end of the match. Millom Minnows won by 16 runs.
Millom Minnows 194-2
Napster's XI 178-2

End of Over 20: 178-2, runrate=8.90
Ricketts 4-0-50-1
Armstrong* 53 (49 balls)
0 (0 balls)

19.6 W Ricketts to Prag
Out! Prag had a nibble and Mccready takes a comfortable catch at waist height. Classic dismissal.
19.5 4 Ricketts to Prag
Shot! That raced through the covers to the fence, and seemed to startle an elderly gent who was just dropping off to sleep.
19.4 4 Ricketts to Prag
Prag has creamed that through extra cover. Zero footwork, just pure hand eye co-ordination.
19.3 4 Ricketts to Prag
Driven through cover for four runs. Prag looks happy with that, his batting partner comments and the smile becomes a grin.
19.2 4 Ricketts to Prag
Excellent shot. Four runs all the way, Balindlela had no chance of cutting that off.
19.1 4 Ricketts to Prag
Overpitched outside off. Driven to the left of Proctor at mid off who misfields. He should have stopped that. The bowler gives him a glare as the ball rolls over the rope.

End of Over 19: 158-1, runrate=8.32, reqrunrate=37.00 (194-2)
Gill 4-0-29-0
Prag* 52 (30 balls)
Armstrong 53 (49 balls)

Last Wicket: Jefferson b. Proctor 51 (FOW: 92/1)

II's won by 9 wickets to make it 5 out of 5.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Mrs BB won by 8 wickets with 3 balls to spare. She's now won 5 out of 5, and should now win the league, as she's played the 4 teams immediately below her.

Bowled my oppo out for 124, which i was happy with. Was 39-1 in reply and got bowled out for 44. Superb effort there. Lol. Not quite sure how it all happened, but i certainly wont be concentrating on tomorrow's game too much now, thats for sure. Reserve XI to be put out.

Kev

Very weird game for me. Had them at 25-7 and then their woeful lower order managed to bump it up to 141, including a 10th wicket partnership of 77. Their No. 11, a 17yo respectable bowler, made 65 from 34!!

Anyway, rattled it off in 14 overs but a strange one nonetheless!

Fairly painless win today and after losing all 3 games last week, have won all 3 this week - and thats with playing my second string batting line up and having some right pie-chuckers for bowlers!!

And that's the end of the match. The Flying Scotsmen won by 9 wickets.
Bush Rangers 146-8
The Flying Scotsmen 149-1

End of Over 19: 149-1, runrate=7.84
Chouhan 4-0-20-0
Wick* 49 (48 balls)
47 (33 balls)

Nowt wrong with pie-chuckers

won my 6th out of 7, if it wasn't for a pants selection in one game i'd be 7 from 7.

Batting first made 256-0, my highest BT20 total i believe and oppo made 183-5 leaving me 2nd in my group.

Another big knock from Swayne who revels in BT20:
