oh here we go. Smith isnt a good goalie. Doesnt come off his line, isnt vocal, makes bad decisions, doesnt catch and looks nervy. The only thing he does well is reaction saves. That isnt a confidence thing,thats a dodgy keeper.

That's not the point I was arguing. You confidence play is a tag for someone that's gash. I'm not saying Smith isn't useless (I haven't seen him) but that's not to say that players aren't affected by confidence.

Just got in 15mins ago, took a while to realise Benyon was co-commentator. God he's crap at that too.

Great for both Tomlin and Hurst. tomlin had plenty ot prove to those who think a strikers role is just to score goals. That goal will do his confidence the world of good and get the monkey off his back.

There was a thread on here recently having a bit if a pop at Hurst too so good to see him score too

blues player has been fine for me after the first 5 minutes, sounds like we have played well and are good value for our lead. Hopefully Tomlin will have a little goalscoring run now! Quite enjoy Benyon's 'commentating', at least its unique!

Hopefully this gives Tomlin a bit more confidence in front of goal. I was gutted when I saw his name on the starting line up, but I'm happy I've been proved wrong. Hopefully it continues :)
