Turns out he's a friend of Timlin's
Not sure that should be a criteria for future signings ............ I still have nightmares about Emberson ...........

No but it helps. Andy Ansah for example recommended his mate Chris Powell to Dave Webb!
I don't want to be negative or "get down" on the man ..... but I am still hunting for an explanation as to why the player has had so many clubs. Going out on loan suggests that he wasn't able to get into the first team (and that can happen if another player comes in and plays extremely well) but then again he moves on really quite regularly.
Of course I will be shouting encouragement once he is wearing the blue shirt (or yellow, pink, white, pale blue or red in recent years) and I only hope that once again Sturrock has unearthed another gem ......... but at the moment I'm still left scratching my head. :unsure:

Andy Ansah also recommended that actor/winger, can't remember his name. That turned out to be useless and went back to acting. He was in some sort of drama about football.
Dean Holness from Dream Team might be the one you mean
This must be one hell of a medical.
Think Wiki makes it seem like he has had more clubs that he actually has had. Must have something about him if Chesterfield got him on loan 3 times, then when we went to Scunthorpe he signed on there for a couple of years. Also believe that at the time he was at Sheffield United, they were knocking on the door of the Premiership, so no surprise he didn't get into that squad.
Yes, that makes some sense - I am no longer scratching my head .......... but not 100% convinced since he only stayed at Walsall for 1 season ........... but as I said, come the start of the season etcetera, he will get my full support.
Still played 34 times in one season.
Good point, good point - perhaps he just likes fishing :net:and wanted some sea air - I look forward to seeing him with his rod waiting for the pier train ............[/QUOTE]
I'm no legal expert , but think that may still be an offence in this country

You can probably book hospitality to watch his medical though.
Is that available for the new Bluebelles as well? :omg:
Walsall fans don't think much to him! ;
