Despite what many may think on here , the only way we will know if Corr/Lozza works, and whether it is better than any other combination is to try it. Corr was on his own, and was ina side with no confidence and a midfield that was spending too much time protecting the defense . The defense is now stronger, and the confidence is higher so ANYONE up front should now get more opportunities . Added to that some are comparing Corr on his own mas we ahve in the past , with playing two up front now.

we also have the quotes of 'don't change a winning team' which I understand , but don't necessarily agree with . What did Barney and Loza have to do with the goal on Saturday ?

I am not happy with Corr and think he has both badly let the team down, and has done something that a person of good character would not do. At the same time I am willing to be , to a degree a hypocrite and disregard this if it was for the good of the team . In other words I would be happy to see him play, and actually think him and Lozza would do well, although its another ask of Lozza to learn playing with someone else who plays in a different way to Barney and Fred

Was stupid enough to get himself sent off when we needed everyone on the pitch - we havent lost since - why bring him in - put him on the bench!!

Absolutely!!
Barry Corr has played not so well in a team playing badly - prior to suspension. He got himself sent-off. The club have brought in a new striker who has played alongside Barney and we won both games.
I cannot for the life of me - see why anyone would suggest playing Barry Corr????

I think he would be happy to take a place on the bench considering how well the team is playing at moment, and how strong the bench looks as well, have to wait his chance like everyone else.

BBBC showed what he brings to the team today at R/dale.
Commitment, work rate, strength.
I believe he is one of the easiest team selections that PB has to make when he writes his team sheet out week in/week out; but the hard part is who he plays up top with as he MUST get some support.

hindsite is a wonderful thing

I think he will be score a few more crucial goals this season! Having a few games on the bench has done him some good because he we overused him during the first half of the season when we had a shortage of strikers. He has come back with a freshness which will really help with our run in!

Corr was excellent today. Although Murphy should take most of the credit for the first goal BBBC still had to be there and stick it in the net. It was his contribution to the third that showed his value to the team, a brilliant flick on to Hurst who crossed it for Timlin. Barry has something that no other strikers can offer and he's going to be vital for the last 3 games and hopefully now the play offs.
