Not good, just have to hope he's set a declaration otherwise there could be some really horrible bowling figures

FFS! I set instructions that Jackman, Raven and Guy bowl 6 overs each for a reason. Akram u ******!!

Forgot to change the declaration target, so we made 429-2. Luckily they're 88-3, hoping we don't bowl them out today as we're at home.

RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, respectable batting form, superb bowling form, fatigued
A destructive player with respectable leadership skills and woeful experience.

Plays For: York City Sloggers
Nationality: England
Age: 20 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 25,680
Wages: £12,138 p/w
Processing ...
Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: abysmal Concentration: woeful
Bowling: wonderful Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: worthless

Current bid just under £5million, because it was a £1.3million increase from the last bid I presume this is the final offer from the current winning bidder. Worth paying £5million for or should I wait for a better deal? I've got my positions in my league tables sewn up so it wouldn't be a bad thing to wait.

Wonderful primary is probably worth more but the consistency is a killer, he'll never be a big innings maker at a high level. The only thing making me say yes is his destructive nature which could make him a good pinch hitter or lower order slogger.

He's a bowler B :finger: 1 x bowling and fielding until his 23yo Primary pop will give you something like Exquisite / Remarkable. Depends where you are going to be playing for the next 2 seasons, if you're at IV next year he'll probably be OK. I wouldn't be a great fan of 3 spinners though, as it limits you when you play away.

We have a wicket HOORAY !

End of Over 86 (3 runs). Wolfmen: 525-1, runrate=6.10
Lead by 119 runs. (BATTY SHRIMPERS 406-10)

Last Wicket: Schutte c. Raziuddin b. Curle 272 (FOW: 508/1)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

End of Over 67 (2 runs). Aylesbury: 186-5, runrate=2.78

Brittain* 20 (101 balls)
Hiller 48 (117 balls)

Last Wicket: Gillespie c. Stride b. Mohammed 52 (FOW: 120/5)

He's a bowler B :finger:
Oh....yeah. In that case I wouldn't buy him!

We're looking safe for a third day now, great defensive bowling. Mushy thinks he's Suthers!

End of Over 23 (4 runs). Lenzie XI: 32-3, runrate=1.39 (1st Inn: 235-10)
Trail by 136 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 403-2 dec)

Rosenior* 10 (32 balls)
Barker 15 (69 balls)

Last Wicket: Stewart c. Askew b. Mushtaq 0 (FOW: 13/3)

I may wait then, I'd ideally get a remarkable/wonderful RF/RFM than a spinner. Reckon a remarkable/remarkable would be a similar price?

Next season we'll be in IV for FC and III for OD.

Looking at the transfer list, I'll struggle to get much better for my money. Looks like I'll need to bide my time, got 8 or so weeks to get the necessary player though before next season.

Hmmm, will we see the third day? 7 overs for them to survive.

End of Over 32 (1 runs). Lenzie XI: 49-7, runrate=1.53 (1st Inn: 235-10)
Trail by 119 runs. (ShrimperZone CC 403-2 dec)
Horrigan 6-0-22-1
Casey* 0 (2 balls)
Eagles 0 (6 balls)

Last Wicket: Rosenior b. Horrigan 21 (FOW: 48/7)

End of Over 58 (Maiden). Midi CC: 125-5, runrate=2.16 (1st Inn: 105-10)
Trail by 199 runs. (Southend 429-2 dec)
Brennan 18-11-18-3
Barrass* 33 (137 balls)
Broomes 0 (3 balls)
Last Wicket: Wilkinson b. Brennan 0 (FOW: 125/5)

2 overs to not get 5 wickets in. Worked out quite nicely today.

Think I'm going to go for the spinner tonight, as I've got 2 RFMs on a training programme already and in 2 seasons time, like BB said, the spinner will be a very good player. Only problem for a short while is having 3 spinners, but with Rennie likely to be remarkable/competent by the end of this season there should be enough flexibility. Will use the new player, if I buy him, for FC and home OD games next season. I've convinced myself into going for it now, hope it'll turn out to be the right decision!
